PHO食

포식 Posik Posik (포식) means eating your fill; the sign writes it PHO食, pairing the Vietnamese noodle soup pho with the character 食, 'to eat'.

Compiled from 19 blog posts read in fullSources →

A pho-and-pork-cutlet shop on the ground floor (unit 121) of the Pastel City building in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju, next to the CGV. Beef pho is 9,500 won (10,500 won for large); sets pairing pho with a mini cutlet, or a cutlet or nasi goreng with a mini pho, run 12,400–15,900 won. You order from a tablet at the table and rice is free. We read 30 posts from September 2 to October 19, 2026; 10 were about other shops in the same building and were set aside. Of the 20 about this place (Sept 2 – Oct 14), 19 record an actual meal. Two disclose sponsorship, and the rest repeat the same address-and-hours block and review-event pitch in the same order.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Portion size was the most repeated point: 13 of the 19 visit posts. The 'mini' pho that comes with a set drew particular comment — one diner asked if that really counted as mini, another expected a small udon bowl and got more. One post called the nasi goreng at least 1.5 servings, and two said they were too full of pho to add the free rice.
  2. Nine posts described something spicy: the spicy beef and seafood pho as sharp and peppery, the signature cutlet as mild at first but building heat, and one family handed it to the adults because it was too hot for the kids. Several also warned the table chili sauce is hotter than expected, which we counted separately as a sauce remark.
  3. Eight posts noted high chairs, and four actually came with children. Several mentioned disposable aprons on the wall, and one said the owner cut the cutlet into small pieces for their child.
  4. Six posts ordered and paid on a tablet at the table; one noted the Wi-Fi password is shown on the same screen.

  1. Two posts flagged cheap drinks: 2,500 won for Terra beer and 2,000 won for soju. One couple came for a hangover soup and ended up ordering beer too.

Parking

9 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park9 of 19 posts

Nine posts parked in the building's underground garage, and five of them said there was plenty of room — two basement levels, space even after work on a weekday, separate lanes in and out. Several noted the shop sits right by the garage entrance. Nobody stated how long validated parking lasts.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 19 posts read)

Two posts described coming up from the garage to the ground floor. Nobody said whether the shop has seating on any other floor.

No post said whether the entrance has a step or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in, nor whether there is a lift from the garage to the ground floor.

We don't know whether the toilet is inside the shop or shared in the building, or whether it is gender-separated — none of this shop's posts mention it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 20 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Accounts of size differ: one post called the room spacious, two said it is not large. One counted about ten tables, another described two- and four-seat tables, and one noted a high ceiling. One said it fills up quickly at lunch.
  • No post reported waiting. One said it fills fast at lunch but turns over quickly, another that it was nearly full — neither mentions a line. That means no one wrote about a wait, not that there never is one.
  • No one arrived by bus or subway; posts locate it only as next to the CGV and Mom's Touch, and six came by car. We don't know the transit route.
  • Fifteen posts give hours, all copied from the same address block: 14 say daily 10:30–21:00 with last order at 20:30, one says closing at 21:30. No one mentions a break time; one notes closure on major holiday days.
  • All prices come from September–October 2026 posts. Two pairs said their meal came to 30,000 won. The signature cutlet is given as 10,000 won in one post and 12,400 won in another. One post noted the menu board outside shows no prices.
  • Ten posts give the phone number 0507-1440-1550; one gives 070-4735-1327. Reservations appear only in copied listing blocks — nobody wrote about actually booking by phone.
  • One post saw a wall poster for a 'rice noodle franchise' brand award, and a post we set aside mentions a separate Deokgye Station branch. It appears to be a franchise, but that rests on the shop's own signage, so we did not count it.
  • Much of this may be commissioned copy: the 20 posts cluster in six weeks, two disclose sponsorship, three pasted in a Naver review-count widget, and three share nearly identical directions. Eight mention the review-for-a-freebie event.
