옥돈가 Don means pork and ga means house; the posts do not explain the Ok, which is also the first syllable of Okjeong, the neighborhood the shop stands in.

Okdonga is a charcoal pork grill on the ground floor of the building that houses No Brand Okjeong, in the Okjeong central shopping district of Yangju. You grill domestic pork over charcoal: the specialty deungsim deotsal (17,000 won per 150 g) and skin-on pork belly (16,000 won per 170 g). Posts say raw Hanwoo mungtigi (39,000 won) is limited to ten plates per weekday. Steamed egg comes free, a whole damselfish in salted anchovy sauce simmers on the grill for dipping, and there's a tub of iced yogurt drinks by the door, one per person. We read 30 posts dated 29 May to 12 October 2026. Two were about other restaurants and one was a five-shop roundup, so 27 count as visits, and 22 of those are from September and October.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- No post says they had to wait. One saw people waiting (a weekday at 8 p.m., full house). One was seated straight away. Five saw signs of queues, like a waiting board or name list, but walked in or reached no conclusion. Six mention waiting chairs out front.
- Eight posts went with family, six with a partner or spouse and three with friends. Five brought children, six mention high chairs, and four say they came by car.
- Fifteen posts call the staff friendly. Several say staff dropped bay leaves into the charcoal and advised cooking the specialty cut only to about 80 percent. Whether staff do all the grilling is unclear: in one post staff started it and the diners took over, and in another staff stood by to call the timing.
- Eighteen posts call it clean and thirteen describe a roomy hall or well-spaced tables. Some say the ventilation kept the smell off their clothes, and one mentions large windows onto the street.
2 more
- Fifteen posts describe the meat as juicy and ten as thick-cut. Three say there was no off smell.
- Many posts mention a free draft beer per person before 6 p.m., and six say they got or ordered beer. Five got grilled pork skin or grilling cheese through the review event.

Parking
13 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is in the building's underground garage. Thirteen posts say they parked there or found parking easy. Three mention two hours free in their own write-ups, and two say there was plenty of space, one of them on a holiday evening.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 5 (of 27 posts read) |

| Lift to the floor | 1 of 27 posts |
The shop is at street level, not underground. Five posts say it's on the ground floor, and one describes taking the lift up from the underground garage.
No one says whether there's a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits through. One post copied the listing's 'wheelchair-accessible entrance', but that's the shop's own entry, so we didn't count it. It doesn't mean there's no access, only that nobody reported on it.
We don't know if the toilet is inside the shop or split by gender. One post saw toilet directions at the counter and another says there's no door code.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes arriving by bus or subway. The 'three minutes from the bus stop' line is copied from the listing, so we didn't rely on it.
- Twenty-one posts list opening hours, all copied from somewhere, and they don't agree. Every one says weekdays open at 4 p.m. The most common version (seven posts) is Mon–Thu 16:00–23:00, Fri 16:00–24:00, Sat 12:00–24:00, Sun 12:00–23:00. Three say weekends also open at 4 p.m., and two say both weekend days close at 23:00. One lists Monday hours and also says it closes every Monday. Check before you go.
- Prices held steady from May to October: eight posts give 17,000 won for the specialty cut and five give 16,000 won for pork belly. Two call the prices reasonable. One couple paid 49,000 won for three portions of pork belly and a bowl of rice. The 3,900-won soju was an opening promotion, so we don't know if it still applies.
- Many posts give the phone number as 0507-1407-2212. Only a copied listing says reservations are taken, and no post mentions booking ahead.
- Posts disagree on portions. One found two portions of the specialty cut small for big eaters, while another says two portions plus one bowl of noodles was right for two. The first post also says untouched garlic arrived heavily coated in chili flakes. They asked the staff about it, lost their appetite and left after the first order.
- Noise is split one to one: one post found it calm enough to talk over dinner, the other says it isn't a quiet place.
- Only one post actually ate the mungtigi. Several say it's limited to ten plates per weekday, and others missed it because it was the weekend, it was late, or it had sold out.
- Of the 27 visits, two disclose sponsorship, two say they were review-program guests and 23 say nothing. Many September–October posts share the same phrases ('the Hermès of pork', 'serious about meat'), the same hashtags and the same order: parking, side dishes, steamed egg, damselfish sauce, yogurt. Treat them as possibly commissioned.
