Nallari Sikdang

날라리식당 Nallari is Korean slang for a flashy, happy-go-lucky goof-off, and sikdang means restaurant — one reviewer joked that the food is no slacker but a model student.

A branch of a pork-cutlet-and-omurice chain on the second floor of the Polyplaza 5 building in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. The menu runs from loin and tenderloin katsu and sauce-covered old-style cutlets to swirled-omelette omurice, curry rice, kalguksu and cold noodles, with single dishes posted at 9,900 to 14,900 won. You order on a tablet or kiosk at the table and fetch udon broth and side dishes from a self-service bar. We read 14 posts from February 2025 to September 2026; 12 of them describe eating in (the others are a gift-voucher merchant list and a delivery review).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Seven posts called the room clean and six called it spacious, pointing to marble tables, a white-and-gold interior and generous gaps between tables. A family of four wrote that they had plenty of room.
  2. Four posts ordered and paid on a tablet or kiosk at the table. One noted that paying with Onnuri gift vouchers meant going to the counter instead.
  3. Many posts mention fetching udon broth and plates from the self-service bar, and four say they went back for more kimchi or pickled radish. Water comes to the table in old-fashioned Del Monte glass bottles; four posts say it was barley, corn or hovenia tea, and one was not sure whether it was tea or water.
  4. Seven posts found the batter crisp and four found the meat juicy. Thickness splits three to two: three called the cutlets thick, two said the meat in the cheese and sweet-potato cutlets was pounded thin. Two posts found sauces salty, three found them sweet.
2 more
  1. Of the posts that say who came along, four went with family, two as a couple and one with friends. Four posts mention high chairs, one wheeled a stroller straight in, and one family noted there is no one-dish-per-person rule, so four of them shared three plates.
  2. Four posts called the prices low or fair. A family of four paid under 50,000 won for three cutlets, a fried rice and extra sausage; a couple paid 39,200 won for three dishes and a soda. Six posts said the portions were large.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 12 posts read)
Lift to the floor1 of 12 posts
Step-free access1 of 12 posts

Two posts went up to the second floor, one saying it is to the right as you leave the elevator, behind a pink door. No post places it underground.

Nobody says whether there is a step at the entrance. One post took a stroller in; none mention a wheelchair.

We don't know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or split by gender — no post mentions it, which is not the same as there being none.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 14 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post describes getting there by train or bus. One says it is in the building opposite Mom's Touch; the posts that mention the trip all came by car.
  • No post reports waiting. Two say weekend lunch and dinner were busy but mention no queue, and one visiting around 5 pm found it quiet. Nobody says whether reservations are taken.
  • Eight posts list the same hours, 11:00 to 22:00, mostly copied from listing info. Four specify the 15:00–17:00 break is weekdays only, and six say it closes on the first Monday of each month (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). Four posts copy the phone number 0507-1305-7010, but none mention booking by phone.
  • Prices have moved: the tenderloin katsu was 12,900 won in a January 2026 post and 13,900 won in September 2026. Most other prices rest on one or two posts and may be out of date. Two posts say cold noodles arrived as a new item around November 2025.
  • One February 2026 post said mazesoba had been dropped, but a visit in early 2026 and a September 2026 post still saw it on the menu, so we can't tell whether it is currently offered.
  • Claims about Jeju pork, 24-hour aging and a 2023 consumer award appear in near-identical promotional wording across two or three posts; we treat them as the restaurant's own marketing, not evidence. Four posts note that this is a chain with branches elsewhere.
