Mikado Sushi Yangju Okjeong
미카도스시 양주옥정점 Mikado is an old Japanese title for the emperor; here it is the name of a conveyor-belt sushi franchise, and this is its Yangju Okjeong branch.

A branch of a conveyor-belt sushi franchise in the Hangil Plaza 2 arcade at Okjeong-ro 6-gil 18, Yangju, opened on 7 October 2026. You take plates off the belt or write anything missing on a slip for the chefs; six visiting posts say every plate is 2,100 won. There is both counter seating along the belt and tables. We read 12 posts from August 2025 to October 2026; three were about other restaurants, and all eight visits fall in the first two weeks after opening (7-20 October 2026).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait in the opening weeks. Four visiting posts mention a queue: five-plus groups from about 7 pm on opening day, a full waiting area before the 11:30 opening the next day, an immediate seat at noon on a Sunday followed by a queue, and one writer who joined the waitlist before setting out. One writer arriving at 4:37 pm waited only briefly. Three posts describe benches at the entrance, and several say the waitlist runs through CatchTable.
- Anything not on the belt is ordered by writing it on a slip and handing it to the chef, and in the first two weeks this often went wrong: two posts had written orders dropped, one had a spoken order forgotten, one was served a plate they had not ordered, and one said ordered plates took a long time. Three posts said the belt carried few varieties, so they ended up ordering a lot.
- Seven visiting posts mention a review offer: post a Naver review and get one free plate or a canned drink. One writer took the drink; another thought it was a standing offer rather than an opening promotion.
- Three posts call the staff friendly, one even on a chaotic opening day with a missed order. One opening-day writer said the staff looked exhausted.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Only one post describes parking first-hand: a large, bright underground garage with a lift up to the entrance. Lines such as two hours free with validation appear only in copied info blocks, which we do not count.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Lift to the floor | 1 of 8 posts |
|---|
No visitor described which floor the shop is on; one post's copied info block says ground floor, which we do not count.
Nobody said whether the entrance has a step or is wheelchair- or stroller-accessible; one post only notes a zigzag entrance lane.
No post mentions the toilets, so we do not know where they are or whether they are separate.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 9 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Accounts of cut thickness differ. Two posts found the fish and beef notably thick (one too thick to chew easily); another said pieces on the same plate varied in size, the rice was skimpy, and they would not return.
- Nobody described getting there by train or bus; posts only place it a minute's walk from the Okjeong sports centre at the edge of the central shopping street.
- Five posts agree on hours of 11:30-21:30 with a 15:00-17:00 break, and four give last order at 21:00, mostly from copied info blocks. The weekend break is contested: one post says 15:00-16:30, one says none, one heard there is a break on weekends only during October, and one found Naver said 16:30 while the in-store notice said 17:00.
- Six posts agree on 2,100 won a plate, but none gives a total bill; one couple says they had 16 plates. No one gave prices for noodles or fried sides.
- Several posts list the phone number 031-868-9288, but none says whether the shop takes reservations; what they describe is joining the CatchTable waitlist.
- Company is scattered: one went alone, one with a husband, one with a wife, one with a friend. No one mentions bringing children.
- Two posts are promotional: one is the franchise's own opening announcement, which we did not count as a visit, and one is by the pest-control firm that services the shop, which we counted because it describes eating there but which does not disclose any payment. All eight visits are from the first fortnight, so the ordering mix-ups and queues may have changed since.
