Kkuseokji Dolpan Hanu Yangju Okjeong-jeom

꾸석지돌판한우 양주옥정점 Dolpan hanu means Korean hanu beef grilled on a stone slab; the posts never explain the word Kkuseokji.

Compiled from 15 blog posts read in fullSources →

Kkuseokji Dolpan Hanu's Yangju Okjeong branch sits in the Okjeong central shopping district (Dream Tower 1) and belongs to a hanu stone-slab grill chain fronted by comedian Lee Sang-jun. You pick hanu cuts by the 100 g and grill them yourself on the stone slab at your table — sirloin is 9,800 won per 100 g, the first order must be at least 300 g, and there is a 1,000 won per-person table charge. We read 24 posts from June 2025 to October 2026; 15 describe actual visits. We set aside 7 about other places (including the chain's Byeollae and Cheorwon branches) and did not count 2 that only list or link this branch. The weekday opening time moved from 3 pm to 2 pm sometime between February and June 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The first order has to be at least 300 g — nine posts mention the rule. Sirloin comes in 200 g steps, other cuts by the 100 g, so several posts mixed many cuts in small amounts. Eight posts note the extra 1,000 won per-person table charge; one advised knowing both rules before going.
  2. You order on a tablet or kiosk at the table, as seven posts describe. Several mention a table timer: heat the stone slab for about eight minutes, then grill the meat yourself. One post couldn't find the bone soup on the kiosk because it is only posted on the wall.
  3. Side dishes are refillable — seven posts say so, mostly from a self-serve bar; one went back about three times for the watery radish kimchi, another for the cubed radish kimchi. The June 2025 post simply asked staff for more. One post found the basic spread thin for a grill house.
  4. Of eleven posts that discuss cost, nine found it easy on the wallet; a family of three with a child ate sirloin and brisket for under 100,000 won without drinks. Two were mixed: a family that ate about 900 g passed 200,000 won, and one post said the chuck flap costs a bit more.
2 more
  1. The room is large — five posts say it is spacious or the tables well spaced, three call it clean. Two mention a ventilation duct over each table, and the June 2025 post describes an open kitchen with meat cut in view.
  2. Mostly a place for two: five posts went with a spouse or partner, three with family (two with children, one noting a high chair), one with friends; three mention driving.

Parking

1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park1 of 15 posts

Parking accounts conflict. The one post that actually parked (June 2025) found the ground-level lot full, went up to the neighbouring upper-level lot and noted there is no basement. Copied info blocks elsewhere mention a basement garage and up to three hours free in the Dream Tower 1 lot; we did not count those.

Where it is

Map showing where Kkuseokji Dolpan Hanu Yangju Okjeong-jeom is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post describes the floor level or steps at the entrance; the unit numbers in the address don't settle it, so we don't know.

No one wrote about entering with a wheelchair or stroller. Two posts copied the listing's claim of wheelchair access, which we did not count; nobody mentioned an entrance step.

No post says whether the toilets are inside the restaurant or in the building corridor; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing info.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post reports waiting. The three that found it quiet went on a weekday evening, early evening, and at 1 pm on a weekend as the first guests. Nobody wrote about busy weekend evenings, so we don't know.
  • No post arrived by bus or subway. One noted lots of foot traffic in the shopping district, but we don't know the distance from any stop or station.
  • Opening hours changed over time: posts through February 2026 give a 3 pm weekday opening, posts from June 2026 give 2 pm, and one blogger noticed the switch. Of five posts since June 2026, three list 2 pm weekdays and 11:30 am weekends, two list 2 pm daily. All agree on midnight closing with last orders at 11:10 pm. These are copied from listings, and nobody mentions a closing day.
  • Most per-cut prices come from a July 2025 chain-wide list; sirloin at 9,800 won is confirmed in a June 2026 post, but we can't confirm current prices for other cuts here. Only two posts give a total bill.
  • Five posts give the same phone number, 031-857-9959. Reservations appear only in copied listing info; no post says they booked.
  • Two posts from 6–7 October 2026 share the same Q&A template, the same money-back slogan and copied listing blocks, with no sponsorship disclosure. We counted them because they describe a meal, but they may be promotional. The house's 'grade 1 hanu' and 'thousand-fold refund' claims are its own advertising, not evidence.
