Oseuteria Ragu

오스테리아 라구 Osteria is the Italian word for a simple neighbourhood eatery, and ragù is a slow-cooked meat sauce — the house's signature is fresh pappardelle in long-simmered ragù.

Compiled from 5 blog posts read in fullSources →

Osteria Ragu is a small Italian restaurant in unit 106 of the KB Tower in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. Fresh, house-made pasta is the focus: three of the five posts from people who ate there ordered the ragù pappardelle. An April 2026 post lists pasta and risotto at 16,000–20,000 won, ragù arancini at 8,000 and a striploin steak at 45,000. It is registered as "Italian Ragu", but every post calls it Osteria Ragu. We read 30 posts dated December 2025 to October 2026; 6 are about this restaurant (February to October 2026) and 5 of those describe a meal there. The other 24 were about other shops in the same building or other Italian places in Yangju, and we left them out.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The room is small. Three posts say so: not many tables, about five tables in all, and tables set close together. No post describes it as roomy.
  2. No post reports a wait. Two say they were seated straight away — one walked in without a booking on a weekend evening, the other had booked lunch the day before. The weekend-evening visitor, though, found several dishes sold out, including the gnocchi they had come for.
  3. Both posts that ordered the fried mushrooms called them crisp — one likened them to mini pork cutlets. They cost 8,000 won in a May 2026 post.
  4. Two posts found the staff friendly: one asked for extra straws and got them in different colours, the other was walked through the menu and given recommendations.

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is ragu papareudelle (라구 파파르델레) — 3 of 5 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park1 of 5 posts

Parking is in the building's basement car park. One visitor who used it says the entrance is small and easy to miss — tucked right beside a jeon restaurant — and first drove into the wrong building. Another, knowing parking in the area is tight, used the city control-centre car park across the road. A free-three-hours note appears only in copied info blocks, so we don't rely on it.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 5 posts read)

One post places it on the ground floor of the KB Tower, to the right of a tteokbokki shop with a black sign. Other posts give the floor only in the address.

We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. Nobody wrote about it — that is not the same as saying there isn't one.

We don't know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one copied info block; no one described them first-hand.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 6 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • We don't know how to get there by train or bus — nobody wrote about arriving by public transport. Two posts say they drove.
  • We can't say who people usually come with: one post was a friend's birthday meet-up, two mention driving, and the rest don't say.
  • Three posts give the same hours — 11:30 to 22:00, a break from 15:00 to 17:00, last orders at 21:00 — but all three copied them from an info block. No post gives the closing days; writers advise checking Naver before going.
  • We don't know what a typical meal costs — no post gives a bill total. Dish prices come from just two posts, in April and May 2026. One writer felt the caviar-topped scallops were a little poor value.
  • Two posts give the phone number 0507-1370-2733. One writer booked the day before; they also pass on the restaurant's note that dishes named in the booking memo will be set aside.
  • Only one post comments on portions: after three dishes it still felt a bit short and added a risotto.
