A sundaeguk shop in the Seonyang Tower block of Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. The core dish is the house sundaeguk with home-made traditional sausage and pork offal; nine of the thirteen visit posts ate it. Posts from July 2026 give 11,000 won for it and 13,000 won for a double bowl, up from 10,000 and 12,000 won through November 2025. Several posts say the broth arrives unseasoned and you salt it yourself with salted shrimp and chili paste. A July 2026 post says the shop has shrunk from two units to one. We read 14 posts from November 2024 to September 2026; 13 describe eating there.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Generous portions are the most consistent point: eleven of the thirteen visit posts say so and none disagrees, with lines like picking out the solids before touching the broth and never finding even the regular bowl short. Five of those eleven come from a single blogger, and one post noted its own bowl seemed to have less broth than its friends'.
- Five posts say the offal has no gamey smell — including the liver and lung, a husband sensitive to smell, and a writer who calls herself picky about it. No post reports an off smell.
- The kimchi and cubed radish, said to be made in-house, come up again and again; three posts got refills (kimchi twice, radish, soybean dip). A March 2025 post notes there is something that looks like a self-serve bar, but the owner brings the side dishes.
- Two September 2026 posts mention outdoor tables in front; one sat out there on a breezy evening and enjoyed it. Earlier posts don't mention outdoor seating.
1 more
- Three posts ate alone, two went with a husband and one with friends over soju. A March 2025 visit at 3:30 pm on a weekend found the room empty.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post says which floor the shop is on from experience; the address only gives unit 109.
No post mentions steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.
No post describes where the restroom is; one lists separate men's and women's restrooms only as copied info.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Through November 2025 posts describe a big room with well-spaced tables (six posts in all call it spacious). A July 2026 post says the shop shrank from two units to one but still doesn't feel small. That is the only post describing it after the change.
- Prices rose sometime between November 2025 and July 2026 — about 1,000 won on soups and 2,000–4,000 won on platters and hot pots. The February 2026 posts don't give prices, so we can't pin down the month. Three posts call it good value.
- Ten posts agree on 11:00–23:00, but the closing day varies: second and last Thursdays (Nov 2024), fourth Thursday (Mar 2025), every Thursday (Sep 2025), Thursdays monthly (Feb 2026), open every day (Feb 2026). Check before a Thursday visit.
- No post covers getting there by subway or bus; one only says the central-mall location is convenient.
- No post reports waiting. One found it empty at 3:30 pm on a weekend; another saw many office workers come in at lunch. Whether there's a lunch-time wait, we don't know.
- Eight posts give the phone number 031-866-7288. Reservations appear only in one post's copied info.
- Five of the thirteen visit posts are by one blogger, who is also the source of all four 'not a chain' remarks; in February 2026 that blogger disclosed receiving free kkakdugi. Talk of sister shops in Deokjeong or Goam-dong is hearsay and not counted.
