Compiled from 12 blog posts read in fullSources →

A lamb-skewer and Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the Polyplaza 1 building in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. We read 12 posts from February to October 2026, all from people who ate there. Three posts give 14,000 won for a ten-skewer portion, and five say skewers come in a two-portion minimum. Diners grill the skewers over charcoal at the table alongside dishes like guobaorou, disanxian and mala xiangguo; eight posts were given a free plate of bean sprouts.

Rows without a count: 5 of 10 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Nine posts said the lamb has no gamey smell. One regular gave that as the main reason they keep coming back, and a first-timer said they ate without thinking about the smell. No post said it smelled.
  2. Three posts describe a rotating charcoal grill: once the skewers are set on it they turn and cook by themselves.
  3. Seven posts called the room spacious. One mentioned a group table for eight, a wall of windows and cushioned sofa seating; six said it was clean.
  4. One post actually waited — on the last day of the Lunar New Year holiday the place was full, though the line moved fast. Another warned of a wait on Friday evenings, and a family said they go early in the evening because tables can run out. Nobody gave a wait time.

Parking

Posts saying you can park4 of 12 posts

Four posts parked in the building's basement garage. One said staff register your plate when you pay; another said parking is easy except that getting in is hard on weekends and at evening rush hour. Nobody said how many free hours you get.

Getting inside

Second floor7 of 12 posts
Lift to the floor2 of 12 posts

Seven posts place it on the second floor, and two took the elevator up — the shop is straight to the right as you step out. One post said you can take the stairs if the elevator is slow, but the emergency stairwell smelled strongly of cigarette smoke.

Two posts mention the elevator, but nobody said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. We don't know.

Only one post mentions the toilet, saying it is right in front of the shop. Whether it is inside the restaurant or in the corridor, and whether it is split by gender, we don't know.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • No post says how to get there by subway or bus.
  • Skewer prices disagree: three posts from February to April 2026 say 14,000 won a portion, one from 28 April says 12,000 won for ten. A post three days earlier still says 14,000, so we don't read it as a price change. No post totals a meal.
  • One post differs on the guobaorou: two called it sweet and tangy, while a parent said it is Sichuan-style with a little heat that may be too spicy for young children.
  • Ten posts list hours of 12:30 to midnight and nine say it closes on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. They agree, but all are copied info blocks rather than first-hand checks. Nobody gave a last-order time or a break.
  • Six posts give the same phone number, 031-861-9595. Nobody said whether it takes reservations.
