Horeumon Chichi Yangju Okjeong-jeom
호르몬치치 양주옥정점 Horumon is the Japanese word for grilled offal; one post explains it may come from the Osaka-dialect hōrumon, 'things thrown away'. The posts give no meaning for 'chichi'.

Hormon Chichi's Okjeong branch is a Japanese-style yakiniku all-you-can-eat on the ground floor of Dream Tower 2 in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. You order meat three plates at a time from a tablet at your seat and grill it yourself; ordering closes at 90 minutes and the table is yours for 120. Posts from July 2026 list courses A, B and C at 24,800, 29,800 and 34,800 won per person, and from June the 28 sides come with any course. Posts up to April 2026 had course A at 19,800 won, with unlimited sides as a separate 2,800 won. Unlimited drinks are 16,800 won. We read 30 posts dated 4 February to 11 October 2026: 24 describe a visit, 3 were about other places or were ads, and 3 said too little about this restaurant to count.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait in the evening. Eleven posts say they queued; the times they give are 15 minutes (just after 6 pm on a Friday), 30 minutes (a holiday-weekend evening), an hour (Saturday) and an hour and a half (7 pm on a Friday). One post walked straight in around 6 pm, and another got a seat at once on a weekend but heard staff quoting a 78-minute wait on the way out. Posts repeatedly advise joining the remote queue on the CatchTable app before leaving home; one says the restaurant phoned a few minutes before their turn to check they were coming.
- There is a clock. Fifteen posts note the 90-minute ordering window and 120-minute table limit, and that you can only order more meat once the last plate is on the grill. The countdown on the tablet made some feel rushed; another post said there was no time pressure at all. Many finished by ordering ice cream in the last few minutes.
- Everything is ordered from the tablet or kiosk at your seat. Thirteen posts say so, including side dishes such as kimchi, garlic and chilli, which also come through the tablet. Raw egg for dipping can be added or left off there.
- No side dishes are set out when you sit down. Three posts say you must order whatever banchan you want; one says a cabbage salad arrived as soon as they sat.
6 more
- The two-person seats are tight. Posts describe two-seaters along the walls where you sit side by side facing the wall, with four-person tables in the middle; six posts found the room or seats cramped. Some enjoyed sitting side by side, others missed facing each other. One noted the queue for four-person tables was shorter.
- Six posts found the staff kind: they explained the system to first-timers, charged a child's phone at the table with a long cable, and kept moving one family's remote-queue slot as their arrival time changed. One regular said some staff can be curt on busy weekends.
- Portions per plate are small. Four posts say so: one called the soba tiny, another said the bibim noodles were three or four bites. Many saw this as a plus, since it lets you try more cuts.
- Three posts found things salty: the thin marinated meats, the cheese steamed egg and the cold buckwheat noodles. One suggests dipping marinated meat in raw egg.
- Three posts are repeat visits (second, third and 'Nth'); one regular was given unlimited drinks on the house. One post, by contrast, said the time pressure meant they would not go back.
- Three posts came with children (a preschooler, two primary-school kids, a sixth-grader). A March post lists course C at 16,900 won for primary-school children and 11,800 won for preschoolers over 36 months.

Parking
7 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Drivers use the building car park. Seven posts parked; the Dream Tower 2 lot is on floors 4 to 6, not underground. Most say three hours are free, though one says two. Register your car at the counter before leaving. One regular parks on the main road outside in the evening.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 24 posts read) |
|---|
No one mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that it's a problem.
No visitor described the toilets. A line saying they are in the building and separated by gender was copied from the listing, so we did not count it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices changed. Posts up to April 2026 give course A at 19,800 won plus 2,800 won for unlimited sides; from June sides are included, and from July course A is 24,800 won. Courses B (29,800) and C (34,800) and unlimited drinks (16,800) did not change. For a whole meal, one couple paid 50,000 won on course A in October; another paid over 100,000 won in March for course C with two bottles and two soft drinks.
- No post describes getting there by train or bus; many visitors drove.
- Booking and phone: most posts give 0507-1336-2993; one lists a mobile number instead. A copied notice says reservations are taken only for early weekday slots (4 to 6 pm), but no visitor actually booked; what people used was CatchTable's remote queue or a phone call with their arrival time.
- Posts disagree on the grill: two say charcoal, one says it was gas, not charcoal.
- Opening hours: fifteen visit posts agree on 4 pm to 1 am daily with last orders at 12:30 am, though most copied this from the listing. Only one post says it is open every day of the year.
- One post from 6 September 2026 simply restates the restaurant's course list in order and is padded with links to other restaurants, so we did not count it as a visit. Its claim of roomy table spacing contradicts the others.
