Galpungjip's Okjeong branch is a marinated beef short-rib house on the ground floor of First Plaza in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. Garlic, sweet-hot and plain rib-finger meat are 19,000 won per 150g, grilled over charcoal at the table. Every table gets a free pot of doenjang stew with meat, and many posts finish with minced-beef bibimbap (6,000 won) stirred with a ladle of that stew. We read 30 posts from 31 August to 16 October 2026; 28 describe a visit. We did not count a car-wash advert or a five-restaurant roundup.

The restaurant is at ground level: three posts went up from the basement garage to the first floor, two by lift. Two say the lift comes out at the back, so they walked round to the front door.
No one wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair access; one post implies a stroller came in. That means we don't know, not that it is step-free.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant; one post says it needs a password, none says where it is.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on the 'maelkom' (sweet-hot) rib: 12 found it spicy, 3 said not at all, 1 was unsure. Most who called it spicy said only slightly; one put it a bit hotter than Shin Ramyun.
- Waiting is unclear. One post saw a long waitlist at the door on a weekday, one found only three tables taken early in the evening, and two saw the list without saying whether they waited. No post gives a wait time. Four booked ahead.
- No post describes getting there by train or bus. Several say the central shopping street is easy to find, and one walked, but none mention public transport.
- Opening hours: 22 posts give 5pm to 11pm daily, last order 10pm, almost all copied from the listing. A 25 September 2026 post saw Friday and Saturday marked closed for Chuseok, while one two days earlier said it was open as usual over the holiday. No post mentions lunch service.
- Prices agree across posts: 19,000 won per 150g of rib meat, 6,000 won for bibimbap or cold noodles, 5,000 won for an extra stew. Only the skirt meat differs — 24,000 won in a 10 September post, 27,000 in a 24 September one. No visit post gives a total bill.
- Galpungjip is a chain with many branches — two posts say so, one recalling the Dongtan branch seven or eight years ago.
- Takeaway is uncertain: one post was told the stew can't be packed to go; 'takeout available' appears only in copied listings.
- All 30 posts fall within seven weeks. Two disclose sponsorship, three a free-meal or reviewer deal, two say they paid, and 23 say nothing. Phrases like 'prime/choice chilled beef trimmed daily', 'Gangwon-style homemade doenjang' and 'sauced the moment you order' recur almost word for word — that is the shop's own copy, and we don't count it as evidence.
