Choi Dining Yangju Okjeong

초이다이닝 양주옥정점 Choi Dining pairs 초이 (most naturally read as the Korean surname Choi) with the English word dining; none of the posts explains the name.

Compiled from 17 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Japanese-fusion restaurant on the second floor of Bujaro Tower in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. It serves oversized salmon futomaki, a bone-in pork cutlet, mazesoba, pastas and rice bowls such as dontorodon; most dishes cost 13,000 to 17,500 won, and you order from a tablet or kiosk at the table. We read 20 posts dated 6 September to 20 October 2026; two were about other restaurants (Dungchi near Deokgye Station and Choi Dining's Bupyeong branch) and were set aside. All 18 remaining posts describe actual meals, but they arrived in a six-week burst with a shared template, and many read like sponsored copy even though only one says so.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Space is the most repeated point: thirteen posts said the room or tables are large and well spaced. One noted the high ceiling, and a parent said the gaps between tables left room to push a stroller in.
  2. Six posts ordered from a tablet or kiosk at the table; one added that drinks and promotions not on the paper menu appear only there.
  3. The bone-in cutlet is consistently called crisp: six posts said so, and five said the food was not greasy. Four called the meat thick, while one said it was not particularly thick. Four posts mention being handed scissors and tongs rather than a knife; one described cutting with a knife.
  4. Heat depends on the dish. Seven posts found something spicy — the karai dontorodon, the pork-jowl oil pasta, the spicy yakisoba, and one warned the wasabi is very hot. One post said the bacon cream pasta was not spicy despite the green chili.

  1. Three posts went with a child, and high chairs were available (one post without a child also noticed them). Children under eight get free rice with seaweed flakes, and two families said they received it.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park4 of 17 posts

Four posts said they parked in the building's own basement garage. Almost every post repeats that Dream Tower 2 takes the overflow and that parking is validated for your meal, but that is mostly the restaurant's notice copied over; one copied version says one hour free.

Getting inside

Lift to the floor5 of 17 posts
Step-free access1 of 17 posts

The restaurant is on the second floor. Ten posts said so, and five described riding the elevator up — the door is immediately to the right as you step out. Two went straight up from the basement car park.

We do not know whether there is a step at the entrance; no one mentioned one. One post wheeled a stroller in, and the 'wheelchair-accessible entrance' line in some posts is copied from the listing, so we did not count it.

We do not know where the restrooms are or what they are like; no post described them. The 'separate restrooms' and 'accessible restroom' lines in one post are copied from the listing.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • No post arrived by public transport. One said it is not right by a subway station and suggested a bus from Deokjeong or Deokgye Station, without saying they did it; two posts came by car.
  • No post reported waiting. One went at 3 p.m. and found it nearly empty, one said a weekday evening was quiet, and one got in at lunchtime 'without a long wait'. Most visits were off-peak or on weekdays, so this does not show there is no line at weekend lunch.
  • Company splits two ways: four posts went as a couple, four with children or parents, and one with a friend. The rest did not say.
  • All opening hours in these posts are copied notices, not observed times. Thirteen of fifteen give 11:00–21:00 with a 16:00–17:00 weekday break (none at weekends) and last orders at 20:30. A 20 October 2026 post instead lists Tuesday–Friday 11:00–21:00, weekends 10:00–21:00 and closed Mondays, and one 11 September post gives an 11:30 opening with a 15:00–16:30 break. Another says there is no regular day off, which conflicts with the Monday closure. Check before you go.
  • Prices are from September–October 2026 posts: dishes run from 13,000 won (dontorodon, mazesoba) to 17,500 won (unagi katsudon), and one party of three paid 45,400 won for three dishes. We did not count any verdict on value. The katsu sando is listed at both 9,900 and 9,000 won.
  • Eleven posts give the same phone number, 0507-1490-5622. One post says reservations are possible, citing the restaurant's notice; no one described actually booking by phone.
  • These posts cluster in a six-week window, share the same title pattern and info block, and repeat the hamburg-steak review offer and two-for-one ade. One discloses sponsorship and one says the meal was 70% off through Supermembers; read the praise with that in mind.
  • There is one sign of a menu change: a 10 September 2026 post lists a salmon rice bowl (sakedon, 16,500 won), and a post two days later guessed it had been replaced by salmon kkakdugi at the same price. That is the writer's guess, not confirmed.
