Cheonnyeon Dakgangjeong Okjeong-jeom
천년닭강정 옥정점 Cheonnyeon means a thousand years and dakgangjeong is fried chicken tossed in a sticky glaze; one post saw a shopfront line about a taste made with a thousand years of care.

A franchise branch of a glazed-chicken chain on the ground floor of a shopping block in Okjeong R6, Yangju, doing takeout and delivery only. You choose boneless thigh chicken or shrimp in one of five flavours; the most common order was the small set (half chicken plus six shrimp) at 29,900 won. We read 13 posts dated 21 June to 20 October 2026. One was about the shop next door and was set aside, leaving 12 visits. All 12 picked up and ate elsewhere, usually at home; nobody ate in. One post said the branch opened in April 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Eleven of the twelve visits said the coating was crisp, and several made a point of saying it stayed crisp once cold or even the next day. One post ate leftovers the following day and said there was no stale-oil or gamey smell.
- This is not a place to sit and eat. Two posts said there is no dining area. One counted about two chairs meant for people waiting on orders, and another also mentioned somewhere to wait. One post found origami books and coloured paper left out for children who are waiting.
- Eight posts said you get 5,000 won off for collecting in person; one described the same deal as a Naver pickup coupon on orders over 11,900 won. Seven mentioned a free cheese ball or can of soda for leaving a receipt review. One post thought the delivery price differs from the menu board.
- How hot it is depends on the flavour. Two posts that chose sweet said there was no heat at all and shared it with children. Three that chose the spicy flavour could not say it was hot or not hot: one said it was milder than expected, another a drop of spice in something sweet.

- Seven posts called the owner friendly. One noticed him sweating heavily over the fryer on a hot day while still serving politely; another said he helped them choose.

Parking
3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking is mixed. Three posts managed to park: two used spaces behind the building and one stopped briefly out front. A fourth said there is no lot and you either stop out front and hope, or use the alley behind. One writer asked the owner, who said the rear spaces are usually full so he tells people there is no parking; that post also noted a no-stopping line in front. Copied listing info contradicts itself (no parking vs dedicated lot), so we did not rely on it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post said which floor the shop is on or mentioned steps. The address says ground floor, and one post noted a full-glass shopfront; that is all.
We do not know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. Nobody wrote about it, which is not the same as saying there is none.
No post used the toilet. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in listing info that two posts copied.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- No post described a queue. One said the order took about 10 minutes and another about 5 to 8; two phoned ahead and walked straight out. We do not know whether there is a line at busy times.
- No post arrived by bus or train; two came by car to collect.
- Opening hours vary a little between posts. Three July posts copied the same schedule (Tue to Thu 1 pm to 1 am, Fri 1 pm to 2 am, Sat 11:30 am to 2 am), two of them adding Sunday 11:30 am to 11:30 pm. Two August posts listed only 1 pm to 11:30 pm, and we cannot tell whether hours were cut or just copied in short. Ten posts agree it is closed on Mondays. All of this is copied rather than observed, so call ahead on 0507-1321-0078; three posts phoned their order in beforehand.
- On price, two posts wondered whether 29,900 won for the small set was a bit steep, then decided the shrimp justified it, so neither came down either way. Posts also disagreed on whether the 5,000 won pickup discount comes off the menu price or is already included in it.
- Many posts from late June to mid-August cover the same points in the same order: the 'you want dakgangjeong right now' sign, the 5,000 won pickup discount, the free cheese ball for reviews, the tamper-proof sticker. None says it was sponsored, but they may have been written as a batch, so read the praise with that in mind.
