Ain Seusi

아인스시 Seusi is the Korean spelling of sushi; no post explains what 'Ain' stands for.

Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →

A sushi omakase counter on the second floor of Seonyang Tower (unit 202) in Okjeong-dong, Yangju. Eight seats face the chef; there is one lunch sitting at noon and two dinner sittings at 6 and 8pm, dinner running about ninety minutes. Posts through August 2026 give 30,000 won for lunch and 60,000 for dinner; from September, 35,000 and 70,000. Many posts say bookings are by phone only. We read 29 posts from October 2024 to October 2026; two were about other shops, and 25 describe an actual visit. Before October 2024 the shop was on the ground floor of the same building.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. All seating is at the counter facing the chef: six posts say every seat is counter seating, and several put a sitting at eight people. Two posts say the room is not roomy; one family of four wrote that they sat packed tightly and felt as if sharing a table with strangers, which made private conversation hard. One post alone described the seats as tables.
  2. All 14 posts that discuss the chef's service speak well of it: he explains each piece and how to eat it, and trims the rice on request. Four posts say a candle was put on dessert after they mentioned a birthday or anniversary, and one diner who avoided raw shrimp was given a repeat of the herring instead.
  3. Eight posts say they left full; one says they never make it to a second stop, another that her husband had to leave the rice. One post found the fried course small.
  4. Of seven posts that mention fishiness, five found none, including diners who normally avoid oily fish or sweet shrimp. One found the sea urchin fishy, and an October 2024 post found the monkfish liver too fishy but the yellowtail clean.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

6 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park6 of 25 posts

Six posts say they parked in the building's underground garage; one advises searching for Seonyang Tower in the navigation app because the central shopping area's parking is confusing. The note about registering your car at payment comes from copied listing info.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 25 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 25 posts read)

Two posts confirm the shop is on the second floor; none says whether you reach it by lift or stairs. One warns that the entrances sit side by side and are easy to confuse.

Nobody wrote about steps at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. We don't know.

Only one post covers toilets: they are the building's shared ones, not inside the shop, and were clean. Nobody says whether they are separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Two posts say the shop moved from the ground floor of Seonyang Tower to unit 202 before October 2024. Every post we read is from after the move.
  • Prices rose in September 2026: 30,000 / 60,000 won for lunch / dinner before, 35,000 / 70,000 after, with one post quoting 40,000 for lunch. The deposit was 20,000 won per person in an October 2024 post and 10,000 in an April 2026 post. Only one post gives a sake price.
  • All opening hours are copied listing info. Twelve posts agree it closes on Mondays; nine give noon as opening, three give 10am. The break was 14:30-18:00 through January 2025, and 13:00-17:30 (four posts) or 13:00-17:00 (one) in 2026. Lunch had two sittings, noon and 1pm, in November 2024; from April 2026 posts say noon only. One post each says Sundays close at 8pm and have only one dinner sitting.
  • Ten posts give the number 0507-1315-3689 and two give 031-868-3689. Bookings are by phone only; one diner was once turned away because the sitting was full.
  • No post mentions queuing, presumably because it is booking-only, but that means nobody wrote about it, not that it never happens. One post says the course starts only once all groups have arrived.
  • No post describes getting there by train or bus; those who mention the trip all drove.
