Unjeong Ilmak
운정1막 Unjeong is the Paju new-town district the shop sits in, and 1막 (ilmak) means 'Act One', as in the first act of a play.

Unjeong Ilmak is a seafood-and-Korean-beef drinking spot in the Sannae village food alley across from Homeplus in Paju's Unjeong new town. The dishes people ate most are eobokjaengban hot pot (25,000 won per person, 50,000 for two), spicy seasoned crab (18,000 won a crab), soy-marinated female crab (19,000 won) and beef pancake (28,000 won), and several posts mix crab meat into the 3,000-won rice bowl. You order from a kiosk or tablet at the table, and many posts sat at the outdoor tables in front. We read 16 posts from December 2024 to July 2026; 12 describe a visit. The other four are a listicle entry, a takeout and a delivery meal eaten at home, and a menu write-up.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The outdoor seating out front is the defining feature. Eight posts mention it. One sat outside on Christmas Eve 2024 and was kept warm by fan heaters and a stove; another notes folding-door screens that let you sit outside in mid-winter. Two posts held office dinners for 12 and 14 at the long outdoor tables.
- Ordering is done at the table on a kiosk or tablet; five posts say so, and one liked that each dish had a description.
- Parking in front holds only two to four cars: four posts give counts of 2, 3, 3 and 3-4. A January 2026 visitor found it full and used the public lot just behind; a December 2024 visitor got the last of three spots. Only one post calls the parking roomy.
- Seasoning runs light: four posts call the food not salty or even bland. One likened the hot pot to an under-seasoned mille-feuille nabe, another said adding the fresh noodles fixed the seasoning, and two found the soy crab not salty.
1 more
- Two posts say the indoor room is small with tables packed close together, though others mention a separate group table inside for eight to ten.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor or any steps from experience; only the address says ground floor.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in; no post mentions it.
No post describes the toilet firsthand. One post's info line says it is a shared building toilet outside, and another's copied listing says it is gender-separated; we did not count either.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Portions divide opinion: four posts found them generous, two found them small, one bluntly calling it pricey with small portions, another finding the 3-4 person set a little short for four adults.
- Opinions on price split two to one: two posts call it expensive, one reasonable. One couple paid 88,000 won for the hot pot for two, beef pancake and two drinks, and the omakase course is 50,000 won a head. One April 2025 post says draught beer was charged 8,000 won against 7,000 on the poster.
- Opening hours vary slightly: closing is given as 23:30 in three posts, 23:00 in two and 22:30 in one; opening as 11:30 in five and 11:00 in one. Three agree on last orders at 22:30. Most of these are copied info lines, so check before going.
- Four posts give the same phone number, 0507-1437-5233. One post booked a table for 14 through Naver reservations.
- No post describes waiting for a table. One arrived at opening and was first in, another noted a full room; that is not evidence there is never a queue, just that nobody wrote about one. One post says the hot pot came out a little late because it was busy.
- No post arrived by bus or subway; visitors drove or used the public car park, so we can't say how easy it is by transit.
