Mamma Hanam

맘마 하남 A ₩9,000 Korean lunch buffet on the second floor of a Hanam office complex

Data as of · Published ·

Mamma Hanam is a Korean buffet on the second floor of the Misa Riverside Skypolis complex in Mangwol-dong, Hanam. ₩9,000 for adults (₩8,000 primary school, ₩5,000 under eight) buys five main dishes and around twenty sides, as much as you like. The pitch is that three sisters and a chef shop the dawn market every morning and cook it themselves, and because the menu changes daily, what is on today goes up each morning on Instagram (@mamma_buffet) and Naver Maps. Buy a ticket at the kiosk by the door; one tray and one cup per person. Park under the building and register at the counter for three free hours. It is lunch only — open at ten, closed by mid-afternoon, and shut every Sunday. The posts we read run from July to September 2026.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

These hours are counted from the posts we read. Shops change them without notice — check Naver Place before you go. Place — check hours

What sets it apart

  1. One thing you rarely find in a Korean buffet: a live grill. One of the three sisters stands at it frying eggs to order, and you say runny or hard — more than ten posts stop to marvel at being asked. The eggs are constant; beside them, one made-to-order dish changes every day — prawn-and-chive pancake, bacon okonomiyaki, tofu in perilla oil, cabbage or courgette or enoki fritters, griddled rice cakes. One writer compares it with a nearby buffet where you fry your own; another notes that pancakes here are not the cold stack you usually get.
  2. Not one writer calls it expensive, and the price has not moved: ₩9,000 / ₩8,000 / ₩5,000 across July to September 2026, with no post disagreeing. "₩9,000 for this?" turns up verbatim in several headlines, and one writer compares it favourably with Seoul. The Gyeonggi local-currency card is accepted, and buying tickets in bulk earns extras — ten brings a ramyeon voucher, and the board offers 20+1, 40+4 and 100+12. Several posts describe people who work in the building keeping a book of tickets.
  3. Go expecting an office-block canteen and it surprises you. One wall is glass, so the light comes in and you look out over the riverside parks — one writer says a second-floor buffet had no business feeling like a hotel dining room; another can see the mountain across the water. Several describe angling for a window seat, and one notes that the high ceiling scatters the lunchtime noise. One writer had taken it for a café from a distance.
  4. A big room by buffet standards — four-tops, two-tops, singles and group tables, and one writer reports a capacity of two hundred. Weekday lunch fills it with people from the building, but several say the layout keeps it from feeling chaotic, and two find it already full by half past ten on a Saturday. One writer notes private hire from twenty people up; another that they take group lunch-box orders, outside catering and bulk side-dish orders. One saw a sign saying no corkage.

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is hansik buffet (한식뷔페 (성인)) — 28 of 28 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

23 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park23 of 28 posts

Easy to drive to, if you do things in the right order. Park under the building near Gate 7 (pillars Da 06–14) and the lift comes out right in front of the shop on the second floor, by several accounts. Parking is free for three hours if you register at the counter — but not after you have left, which is why post after post says to do it on the way in. The complex is big enough that first-timers get lost; the landmarks people give are the Noah Roastery café and the table-tennis club next door, or the building with the convenience store.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 28 posts read)

One post mentions a pushchair; none mentions a step or a stair. That writer notes people had brought prams in, and that customers with dogs ate at the café-style seating outside. It is on the second floor, but several posts describe coming straight up by lift from the car park, so the floor itself is probably not the obstacle. What nobody records is whether there is a lip at the door, how wide the aisles between the serving counters are, or whether you can manage them holding a tray — and in a buffet those aisles are the meal. If you use a wheelchair, better to call first.

Only one post mentions the toilet. That writer says it seems to be maintained by the building and is genuinely clean — so it is a shared facility rather than one inside the restaurant. How you get to it, and whether it is split by sex, is in neither that post nor the other twenty-seven.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Closing time does not agree from post to post. Most give 15:30 on weekdays; three give 15:00 and one gives 13:30. Saturday splits between 14:30 and 14:00. The posts that say 15:30 and 14:30 mostly list last orders separately at 15:00 and 14:00, so people are probably mixing up last orders with closing — but that is not ours to decide, so we publish what each post says. What is certain: it opens at ten, closes in the afternoon, serves lunch only, and shuts on Sundays. Public holidays run to their own hours (two posts give the Saturday times), and two writers saw notices closing the place for several days over the autumn holiday. If you are going late, call.
  • The menu changes daily, so a dish named below only means it was there that day. Pooling the main dishes across twenty-eight posts gives more than thirty names, and no two posts list the same set. Some recur — braised chicken, pork cutlets — while others appear once each. More than ten writers tell you to check before going: it goes up each morning on Instagram @mamma_buffet and in the Naver Maps feed.
  • Three posts disclose that they were sponsored or came through a tasting programme — one in its opening line, one in the body ("the good thing about a comped meal is that it finds you places you'd never have got to"), one saying they had paid their own way before but applied for and won a tasting slot. All three are counted below. A fourth says only that they came "through a kind opportunity" — whether money changed hands, we do not know. One post states plainly that it paid. And twenty-eight posts are not twenty-eight people: one blogger came on 24 August, 5 September and 19 September and wrote each visit up (their own words: "my third visit"). Three separate meals, not one meal written three times, so all three are counted.
