Compiled from 17 blog posts read in fullSources →
A handmade-tofu restaurant in the Richville building on Pyeonghwa-ro 1413beon-gil in Deokgye-dong, Yangju, across from Rich Mart. The signature is jjabak dubu, house tofu simmered down in perilla oil and ground perilla seed; 14 of the 18 visit posts ordered it, and five put it at 13,000 won a person. Most dishes come with a stone-pot rice, finished by pouring in hot water to make scorched-rice tea. Grilled fish, pork with wraps and cheonggukjang are also on the menu, and side dishes are refilled from a self-serve bar. We read 30 posts from November 2024 to October 2026: 8 were about other restaurants (mostly the main branch) and were set aside, 4 only introduced or listed the place, and 18 record meals at this branch.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Six posts say they topped up side dishes from a self-serve bar. Counts of the opening spread vary: one post saw a four-section plate plus extras for more than eight, others counted ten or about twelve.
- Five posts say side dishes, cheonggukjang and the like are sold to take home. Several also mention free bags of soybean pulp by the counter, though some found them already gone.
- Family meals are the most common, in seven posts, including four people with parents. A parent with a five-year-old was given a child's fork and spoon, but found few unseasoned side dishes a child could eat.
- Five posts found the portions generous; one called them average.
1 more
- Seasoning splits: four posts found it not salty or even mild, two found it strong (once for the tofu, once for the pork).

Parking
8 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Eight posts say they parked or could park. The spaces out front are few: one regular says only three or four cars fit and always parks at Rich Mart across the street, another warns the lot is small, and one parked on the roadside. One post called the lot roomy.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 17 posts |
|---|
No post describes which floor the dining room is on or any stairs; only the address says ground floor.
We do not know whether the entrance has a step or takes a wheelchair or stroller; nobody wrote about it.
We do not know whether the restroom is inside the restaurant. One post says it is separated by gender, another that it feels old but is kept clean.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- One post dissents. In October 2025 the food took over 30 minutes because staff were eating, the tofu itself seemed ordinary, chairs were worn and the room dark, and the writer did not recommend it, though noting some companions enjoyed the meal.
- Prices vary by post. Jjabak dubu is 13,000 won in five posts, 12,000 won in a scraped November 2024 list and one September 2025 post, 11,000 won in one July 2025 menu photo. Pork with wraps went from 13,000 won to 15,000 in October 2025 and 16,000 a person in September 2026. Two posts found it pricey, three found it cheap or right for lunch. Check current prices on site.
- Eleven visit posts give the same hours: 10:30 to 21:00, last order 20:30, closed Tuesdays. All of these are copied info blocks, not times the writers tested themselves.
- No post describes waiting in line — that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is never a wait. One went before lunch because it gets packed, one saw a steady lunch crowd but quick turnover, and one still found it fairly busy at 3 p.m.
- No one went by bus or train. One post notes a bus stop nearby but says a car makes it easier; several posts went by car.
- Six posts give the same phone number, 031-857-8589, but none describes booking by phone; the reservation option appears only in copied info blocks.
- Posts about the main branch on Eohagogae-ro and the Goeup branch share the name; we left main-branch posts out of these counts.
