Suyuri Udongjip Deokgyeyeok-jeom

A chain udon-and-snack shop across the road from Exit 1 of Deokgye Station, next to a Baskin-Robbins. You order at a kiosk and fetch side dishes, water and cold corn tea from a self-service bar. A menu board photographed in October 2026 lists basic udon at 6,500 won, house gimbap at 4,500 won, tuna or Spam gimbap at 5,500 won, jjolmyeon at 8,000 won and spicy pork rice at 9,000 won; beyond udon there is gimbap, noodles, rice bowls, pork cutlet and tteokbokki. We read 12 posts dated 13 March 2025 to 5 October 2026, and all 12 describe an actual visit. A March 2025 post called it newly opened.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Eight posts say it is close to the station: cross one set of lights from Exit 1 and you are there. Two posts point out that it sits right next to Baskin-Robbins.
  2. Eight posts ordered at the kiosk. One explains that food is not brought to the table: you collect it when it is ready and return the dishes yourself. Three posts say cash is paid to staff directly.
  3. Seven posts mention the free cold tea at the self-service bar: six call it corn tea, one buckwheat tea. One writer urges you to skip the water and drink the corn tea; another lost count of refills. A March 2026 post found the hot broth at the bar had run out that day.
  4. Five posts describe the same layout: two four-person tables in the middle and a counter for solo diners along the wall and window. Two posts say the room is not large, though one adds that groups of two or more can still find a seat.

  1. Five posts say portions are big; one was surprised how large the bowls were, another thought two children could share one udon. One post felt the 6,000-won tteokbokki was a little small for the price.
  2. Two posts say the food was slow: in March 2026 the rest of the order lagged behind the gimbap while delivery riders streamed in, and in April 2025 the writer suspected peak-time cooking delays. One more post remarks on the volume of delivery orders.

Parking

Posts saying you can park3 of 12 posts

Three posts say parking is possible. Only one actually drove, parking at the Deokgye Station No. 3 public lot about 100 m away; the building's basement garage was something staff told them about. The parking lines in two other posts are copied info blocks.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 12 posts read)

No post describes the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we do not know, not that there is a problem.

One post says there is no toilet inside the shop and you use the building's. Nobody said whether it is split by gender or where it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Prices have gone up: an August 2025 post paid 5,000 won for Spam gimbap and 7,500 for jjolmyeon, and a March 2025 post 6,000 for tteokbokki; the October 2026 menu shows 5,500, 8,000 and 6,500. One family of four paid 29,500 won in total in March 2025. Five posts call the prices easy on the wallet.
  • Seven posts give opening hours, all copied from listings. Two from April and August 2025 say 9:00 to 21:00 (one with a 15:00 to 16:00 break); four from August 2025 to March 2026 say daily 7:00 to 22:00 with last orders at 21:30; one from October 2026 says 10:00 to 20:30 per the shop. That last figure rests on a single post, so we cannot confirm a change.
  • Heat is disputed: two posts found dishes spicy (bibim guksu in November 2025, jjolmyeon in August 2025), two found them mild (spicy udon in January 2026, jjolmyeon in March 2026), and two reached no verdict. On the jjolmyeon alone, August 2025 called it fairly hot and March 2026 not hot, so we cannot tell a recipe change from personal taste.
  • One August 2025 post was served tuna gimbap instead of the Spam gimbap ordered, and could hear the owner scolding an employee over it through the open kitchen throughout the meal. It is the only post that comments on staff.
  • No post actually queued. One March 2025 post, seeing a busy evening, only guessed there might be a wait at some times.
  • Several posts call it good for eating alone, but none clearly says the writer went alone. Of those naming companions, six went with family and one with a friend.
  • Three posts give the phone number as 0507-1486-1157 and one October 2026 post as 031-856-1109. Nobody said whether bookings are taken; one suggests ordering takeaway ahead by app or phone.
