Lahongbang Malatang Deokgyeyeok-jeom

라홍방마라탕 덕계역점 Lahongbang is the name of a malatang franchise (the posts do not explain it); malatang is the numbing-spicy Sichuan-style soup you build from chosen ingredients, and Deokgyeyeok-jeom means the Deokgye Station branch.

A franchise malatang shop in the Hoecheon new-town shopping block by Deokgye Station (Hangil Plaza, unit 101). You fill a basket with ingredients and pay by weight: malatang from 7,000 won, malaxiangguo from 15,000 won, and the bowls people actually reported came to 10,000-17,000 won. One post says it opened in September 2024; seven mention the many Crayon Shin-chan figures around the room. We read 12 posts from October 2024 to May 2026: one was about a hair salon in the same building and was dropped, one was a delivery order and not counted, leaving ten first-hand visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Five of the ten visits mention takeaway: four took food home themselves, and one noticed many customers taking out or ordering delivery. One person bought 14,000 won worth alone and ate it over two days. A December 2024 post says that, arriving late, they were told only takeaway was available, not eating in.
  2. Three posts say the food came out quickly; none said it was slow.
  3. Four posts describe the seating: tables for about five groups; roughly three four-seaters and four two-seaters; two- and four-person tables; and room to eat alone. One post noted the room is not large.
  4. Three visits were with children, who got the plain broth or level 0.5; one child found 0.5 slightly hot and wanted level 0 next time. A 2026 post buys level 0.5 takeaway for the kids at home.

  1. Two posts found the portions generous; a third said the malatang was ample but the mini guobaorou was small compared with other shops. Since malatang is sold by weight, the amount depends on what you pick.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No one described the floor from experience; we only have the unit number in the address and one copied info line.

No post mentions an entrance step, stairs or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there are none.

No one wrote from experience whether there is a toilet inside the shop; one copied info block says only that the building has separate men's and women's toilets.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 10 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post mentions queuing; one only waited inside for a takeaway order.
  • Six posts give opening hours, all copied. Posts from Oct-Dec 2024 say 11:00-21:30 on weekdays with later weekend openings, and disagree on Saturday (11:00 vs 12:30); the Oct 2025 and May 2026 posts say 11:00-21:30. Five agree on last order at 21:00. Only one mentions a Tuesday closure.
  • Prices shift over time: the mini guobaorou was 11,000 won on the Nov 2024 menu board and 12,000 won in Feb 2025. The minimums (7,000 won malatang, 15,000 won malaxiangguo) stayed the same from Nov 2024 to May 2026.
  • Two phone numbers appear: 031-928-7284 in two posts (Oct 2025, May 2026) and 0507-1378-7284 in two (Nov-Dec 2024). One post says phone takeaway orders work but app pickup is cheaper. No one mentions table reservations.
