Naksam

낙삼 Naksam is short for nakji (live octopus) and samgyeopsal (pork belly) — the house's signature spicy stir-fry of the two.

Compiled from 8 blog posts read in fullSources →

A live-octopus restaurant in Deokgye-dong, Yangju, across from the public car park next to the Geumgwang Poranjae apartments. The signature is the dish it is named for — live octopus and pork belly stir-fried in a spicy sauce, with the pork and vegetables served first, the octopus added later, and fried rice to finish. Seasonal fish (sea bream, filefish, mullet) and steamed female crab (80,000 won per kilo in March 2026) also appear. We read 10 posts from November 2024 to June 2026: 8 visits, 1 introduction-only post, and 1 discarded as being about another restaurant.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The table keeps filling beyond what you order. Five posts got tempura on the house — water parsley, sweet potato, wood-ear mushroom or greens depending on the day. Two say every diner gets a bowl of clam (once mussel) broth, and one also got sea squirt and abalone free. In one post the owner fried sweet potatoes on the spot after seeing the pair sweating from the spice.
  2. Five posts called the tempura crisp; one writer who dislikes water parsley still ate a lot of it.
  3. Three visits were family meals — a mother-in-law on Parents' Day, parents at Chuseok, and a party of four with mother, sister and uncle. One was four friends.

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is Twigim (서비스 튀김) — 7 of 8 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Where it is

Map showing where Naksam is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post described the floor; the address just says ground floor of building A.

No one mentioned steps at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. We don't know.

No one mentioned the toilet — where it is or whether it is separated. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Heat is split: two posts found it spicy, one wished it were spicier.
  • Most visits gave no prices. The menu copied into a November 2024 post lists the octopus stir-fries at 23,000 won per person and fried rice at 3,000 won. Two posts called it good value; two others said it isn't cheap but is worth it. No one said what the whole meal cost.
  • Opening hours: three posts give Mon–Sat 11:00–22:00, closed Sunday, but all copied from the listing. A November 2024 post's copied list showed Sunday open and Monday missing, so the day off seems to have changed since. No one mentioned a break or last order.
  • The '948 m from Deokgye Station exit 1' line appears only in copied info; no one described getting there on foot or by bus.
  • No one wrote about waiting; one only said the place was fairly busy even late in the evening. That means unrecorded, not no wait.
  • The phone number (0507-1368-1059) and 'reservations' appear only in one post's copied info; no one wrote about booking by phone. A March 2026 post says seasonal items are announced on the Naver Place listing.
  • A March 2026 post from a promotional-goods company blog is mostly ad-style copy in quotation marks; we counted only what the writer said they experienced. A September 2025 monthly diary and a July 2025 post appear to be the same person's same visit.
