Emoi
에머이 덕계역점 Emeoi Deokgyeyeokjeom Em ơi is Vietnamese for calling out to a younger person or a server, roughly 'hey there'. Emoi is a Vietnamese noodle chain, and this is its Deokgye Station branch.

This branch of the Emoi chain sits on the second floor of J Tower, right outside Exit 1 of Deokgye Station in Yangju. It serves Hanoi-style pho and other Vietnamese dishes. Brisket pho is 11,900 won, the brisket-and-point pho and the spicy pho are 13,500 won, and bun cha is 16,000 won. The pho comes with scallions instead of bean sprouts, and several posts say they were told to add the pickled garlic kept on the table. The shop moved here from the LF Square mall in Yangju in summer 2025. We read 18 posts from August 2025 to September 2026, and 17 of them describe an actual visit.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- You order from your seat. Six posts used the tablet or table-order screen at each table, and two noted that you pay after eating.
- There are genuinely spicy dishes. Six posts said so, most often about com thit heo (spicy pork over rice): one said it left the mouth tingling, another warned it could be hard for people who avoid heat. The spicy pho and the morning glory also drew the comment.
- Eight posts called the staff friendly. They mention being asked up front whether they wanted cilantro or hot chilies, and four posts got a mango jelly on the way out. Several also saw the owner hand iced water or canned coffee to delivery drivers.
- The room is small. Four posts said it is not spacious. Three posts counted seats and got slightly different numbers. Two listed three four-seat tables and one two-seat table plus single seats by the kitchen, one counted four four-tops and a two-top, and a July 2026 post saw four four-tops with a ledge counter on the other side.

Parking

There is a garage under the building, but it is tricky to use. All three posts that parked there said so. One had to back up once or twice because a single lane serves both entry and exit, and another described right-angle ramps and told new drivers not to bring a car. Two of the posts suggested the public lot behind the building instead.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 8 of 17 posts |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 6 of 17 posts |
Six posts took the elevator and found the door right in front of them on the second floor. Eight posts noted that the shop is upstairs.
We do not know about steps at the entrance or wheelchair and stroller access. Six posts mention the elevator, but none describes the doorway. That does not mean there is no step; nobody wrote about it.
We do not know whether the restroom is inside the shop or separated by gender. No post mentions it.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 18 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- This shop relocated here. An October 2025 post describes it as the branch that moved from LF Mall to Deokgye Station, and a September 2025 post found the LF Square shop gone. That writer only guessed it was the same owner, so we could not confirm it. All 18 posts we read are about the Deokgye Station location.
- The opening hours have changed. Posts from October 2025 to January 2026 give 10:00 to 22:30 daily, last order 22:00, closed the first Monday of each month. Two March and June 2026 posts by the same blogger differ only in the closing time, which they give as 22:00. Three posts from July 2026 on give 10:00 to 21:00, last order 20:30, closed every Monday. Most of these hours were copied into the post headers. Only one October 2025 post, from a diner who walked in at 9 p.m., reported them first-hand.
- Posts split two to two on speed. Two said the food came quickly, and two noticed a gap between dishes or felt it came a bit late. Several posts mention a heavy flow of delivery orders, so it may depend on how busy the kitchen is.
- Opinions on portions differ. Three posts found them generous, while one said the pho was really small and still not enough even with extra noodles.
- We know little about waiting. The only post that addresses it, from January 2026, walked straight in. Others found the room fairly busy at weekend lunch and in the evening, but nobody wrote about queuing.
- Most posts simply say the shop is right outside Exit 1 of Deokgye Station. Only one, from September 2025, actually describes walking over from the station. No post mentions coming by bus.
- Meal prices look stable across posts. Brisket pho plus com thit heo for two comes to 24,800 won, and no post shows a price change for the same dish. We do not know prices after September 2026.
- Four posts list the phone number (0507-1339-4464), but none says whether the shop takes reservations.
- One post says pets may be allowed and suggests asking the owner first. That is passed-on information, so we did not count it. No post describes bringing a pet.
- One January 2026 post, a long quarterly diary covering many places, was too long for us to find the part about this shop, so we did not count it.
