Dalbit Arae Sup
달빛아래숲 Dalbit arae sup means 'forest under the moonlight' — a big moon sculpture stands by the entrance as a photo spot.

A camping-style restaurant past Deokgye Reservoir in Yangju, at the foot of the Dorak-san trail. You rent one of 15 tents (KRW 10,000 for four, KRW 5,000 per extra person) and either buy meat at the on-site shop to grill over charcoal yourself, or pre-order dishes such as duck with neungi mushrooms (KRW 85,000), jar-roasted pork belly and ribs (KRW 30,000 a portion, three minimum) or a seafood boil (KRW 98,000). Writers say a shallow stream runs beside tents 1 to 5. We read 13 posts from February 2025 to October 2026; 9 of them record an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- This is a place you book. Of the 9 visit posts, 5 say they reserved ahead. Jar-roasted pork takes over an hour, so it has to be ordered in advance; a copied menu notice asks for a day's notice for the seafood boil and Korean beef and an hour for the chicken or duck dishes. One summer-weekend visitor found no same-day tent free until the owner called back when one opened up in the afternoon.
- The tents are air-conditioned: three July-to-September visitors said so, two adding there was a fan as well. A February 2025 visitor wrote that the stove and heater warmed the tent quickly.
- Two posts describe visits with children, one with four-year-old twins and a one-year-old, the other with a child who loved to run around. Writers mention artificial turf on the tent floors and mats laid along the wooded path up to the tents.
- Two posts say the meat had no gamey smell (the charcoal-grilled pork and the native chicken). Others noted the pork was cut thick.

Six posts mention parking and all of them parked without trouble. The lot is straight ahead as you enter; one writer adds that on weekend mornings, when it fills, people park along the road by the entrance.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
The tents sit outdoors and no post mentions floors at all. That isn't evidence either way; nobody wrote about it.
No one wrote about steps or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get around. Writers do say the way up to the tents is a wooded path covered with mats, and that the place sits up a slope past the reservoir.
From the site maps writers copied, the toilets are in their own building by the shop and kitchen rather than in the tents; one visitor found them roomy and clean. Nobody mentioned separate men's and women's toilets or an accessible one.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 11 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- One post says it is close to Deokgye Station, but nobody wrote about getting there by bus or train; everyone who described the trip drove.
- No one wrote about waiting in line, but most visitors had booked, and one found no same-day tent on a summer weekend.
- No post describes a visit with friends. Most went with family; one couple went alone together, and one group of four adults went.
- For opening hours, posts from February 2025 and July 2026 both copy 11:00 to 23:00 with last orders at 20:30; one October 2026 post gives 11:00 to 22:00 with last orders at 20:00. All three copy posted notices, so one post can't settle whether the hours changed. Nobody mentioned a closing day.
- Accounts of the tent time limit differ. An August 2026 visitor saw a four-hour rule but stayed longer; a July post thought fixed slots had given way to bookings; an October post copied a notice saying four hours maximum.
- Prices: the tent fee comes on top of food. 2026 posts put pork belly at KRW 8,500 per 100 g; a February 2025 post recalled roughly KRW 9,000, from memory, so we can't say the price dropped. No one gave a total bill for a meal.
- Only one February 2025 post lists the phone number, 031-866-6882. Many visitors booked, but none said whether by phone or some other way.
- Five posts from July to October 2026 carry the same set of search hashtags, and two of them disclose sponsorship; one still contains a leftover writing instruction about adding detail to the potato-pancake photo. Details such as the pet-friendly tents (6 to 11), the four-hour limit and the cake-and-fruit rule are copied from notices, so we didn't count them.
- A March 2025 post believed the place had been taken over from a camping restaurant with a different name, and a February 2025 post called it newly opened. No one gave the old name or the date of the change.
