Chuncheongol Dakgalbi Deokgyeyeok-jeom

춘천골닭갈비 덕계역점 Chuncheon-gol means 'the Chuncheon neighborhood' — Chuncheon is the city known for dakgalbi; this is the Deokgye Station branch of a chain.

Compiled from 21 blog posts read in fullSources →

A dakgalbi place on the second floor of the J-Plaza building near Deokgye Station; two posts note it is a chain branch. Boneless dakgalbi is 15,000 won per 250 g serving, cheese dakgalbi 16,000. The chicken is cooked in the kitchen and brought out on the iron plate ready to eat, and you fry the closing rice yourself. Ten posts said soju and beer cost 2,500 won a bottle. We read 28 posts from December 2024 to October 2026, set aside three about a hair salon in the same building and one about another restaurant, and counted 21 actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The chicken is cooked in the kitchen. Ten posts said it arrives already cooked and ready to eat; the groups of four said it is given a first stir-fry before coming out. One post noted this takes a little while. What you do at the table is the closing fried rice, though one post said you still need to stir the cheese dakgalbi now and then so it doesn't stick.
  2. Of the 16 posts that talked about prices, 10 called it cheap or good value and none called it expensive. The reason given most often was the drinks: soju and beer at 2,500 won. Receipts show 30,000 won for two servings of dakgalbi from October 2025 through October 2026.
  3. There is a self-serve side bar: 12 posts said they went back for more pickled radish, lettuce, chilled cucumber or seaweed soup, or kimchi. Cabbage salad, lettuce, garlic and dipping paste come to the table by default. Two posts found the chilled soup far too sour. One mentioned a sign asking guests not to leave food.
  4. Four posts went with children and four saw high chairs. One parent waited an hour on a weekend at 6 p.m. with two toddlers; another said she hadn't brought her kids because there was nothing for them to eat. One family ordered the milder spice level so their child could share.

  1. One post reported waiting: an hour on a weekend at 6 p.m. The same writer found it quiet another day before 6:30. Two posts that arrived around 5 p.m. said the room filled right after they sat down and they nearly had to wait. Another walked in as the first customer at 11:30 on a Sunday and left a full room; one found only three tables taken on a weekday at 6 p.m.

Parking

6 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park6 of 21 posts

Parking is in the building's basement garage. Six posts said you can park; one said it's free once you register your car after paying, another said up to two hours. One post warned that the garage has a single in-out ramp and many pillars, hard for new drivers, and recommended the open lot next to the building; another post parked there too.

Getting inside

Second floor6 of 21 posts

It's on the building's second floor, as six posts noted; one said it's down an inner corridor and first-timers may wander a bit. Five posts said it's a 3-5 minute walk from Deokgye Station.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance, an elevator, stairs, or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We only know it's on the second floor — this means no one mentioned it, not that there is none.

We don't know whether the restroom is inside the restaurant or separated by gender; one post merely copied a 'restroom: yes' label.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Drink prices disagree. Ten posts from November 2024 to October 2026 said 2,500 won, but a menu photo from August 2026 shows soju and beer at 5,000. One post called it a drinks event and another a Naver Map coupon, so the low price may be a promotion; we don't know how long it runs.
  • Seven posts list hours of 11:00-23:00 with last order at 22:00 and two say closing is at 22:00, all copied into info boxes. Two posts said there is no afternoon break. No post mentioned a day off.
  • Six posts give the same phone number, 0507-1490-0659. Nobody said whether reservations are taken, though one saw tables pushed together for a group dinner.
  • Some posts look templated: three from June-July 2026 follow the same sequence (date greeting, four acquaintances, around 5 p.m., four servings, 2,500-won drinks, a busy owner, udon noodles), two by the same blogger. One post of stitched-together promo copy and two one-line entries in 'best of' lists were not counted as visits.
