Cheongchundon
청춘돈 Cheongchun means youth, and don reads as the Sino-Korean word for pig — roughly 'youth pork'.

A pork barbecue place on the ground floor of Hangil Plaza, a short walk from Deokgye Station exit 1. The floor is laid with artificial turf and the room is styled like a campsite or street-side tent bar. A 500 g set of four cuts costs 39,000 won; you grill it yourself, soybean-paste stew comes with the meat, and you finish by frying a 2,000-won rice bowl on the grill. We read 16 posts, from 26 January to 15 May 2026, and all 16 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Side dishes are refilled from a self-service bar; twelve posts said they went back for lettuce, kimchi and bean sprouts there. Several noted that the scallion salad and drinks are not on the bar — you ask the owner for them.
- You grill the meat yourself: three posts said so, and none said staff grilled for them. Almost every post mentions grilling the kimchi, bean sprouts and garlic alongside on the edge of the plate.
- There is a space by the entrance that opens to the outside; three posts described it. A May 2026 post said you can open the door and eat in the breeze, a March post said it is enclosed in plastic sheeting with a heater so winter was not cold, and a January post called it an enclosed outdoor terrace.
- Six posts said the pork had no gamey smell, and none said it did. Four said the portions were large; one family of three, including an eight-year-old, finished the A set and added a portion of pork belly.

Parking
4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Four posts wrote about parking: the building's car park can be used and there are public lots nearby. One warned that the Hangil Plaza car park is a little tight and hard for a novice driver to get out of.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 5 (of 16 posts read) |
|---|
Five posts said the restaurant is on the ground floor, but none said whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. We do not know.
We do not know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or in the building corridor. One post said there is a toilet; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one post's copied info list.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Posts split one to one on speed: one said side dishes trickled out on a Thursday evening when the owner was working alone, another said the meat arrived as soon as they ordered.
- No post says they waited. One arrived around 5 pm to find a family already eating and a rush building later; another came at opening time behind two tables and left to a full room. We do not know whether you wait later in the evening.
- Nine posts list opening hours, all copied from an info block. Two posts up to 4 February 2026 show Sunday 5-11 pm; six from 20 February on say closed Sundays. Most give weekdays 4 pm to 1 am and Saturdays 5 pm to 1 am, while one April post lists earlier closing (11:50 pm Mon-Thu, 11:30 pm Sat). One post also heard that the place may close early if empty after 10 pm, so check before a late visit.
- Seven posts list the phone number 0507-1440-0091, all in copied info lists. Reservations appear only in one such list; no post says they actually phoned to book.
- Prices held steady from January to May 2026: sets 39,000 won, the large platter 49,000, spicy noodles 4,000, fried rice 2,000. Six posts called the prices low or fair and none called them high. A set for two with drinks comes to the 40,000s, though no post gave a receipt total.
- Most of the 16 posts carry the same five Deokgye hashtags and read like one commissioned campaign; only two disclose sponsorship or free food, and the rest say nothing. The 'top-grade domestic sow pork' line is the restaurant's own claim repeated, and we did not count it.
