A gimbap shop on the ground floor of a two-storey hanok at the far end of Hwangnidan-gil in Hwangnam-dong, Gyeongju. The rolls come topped with braised shredded burdock at 5,000 won each, alongside bibim glass noodles (7,000), janchi noodle soup (8,000) and tteokbokki (7,000); eat in, or take out from two rolls up. What sets it apart
- The line depends on the day. Of three posts that mentioned waiting, two found none — one arrived before 11 on a September weekday to an empty room, another came on a holiday-weekend evening after being told the famous shop nearby had a near two-hour wait, and got takeout here right away. One post from the afternoon of Sunday 4 October found a line stretching outside, and said both ordering and rolling were slow.
- Three posts came alone — one for breakfast, one titling the place good for eating solo, one who had to pick carefully because she couldn't finish everything by herself. The others came once each with a sister, with two friends, and as a group of six.

Two posts placed it on the ground floor of a two-storey hanok, with a hanok guesthouse upstairs. One noted exposed wooden beams inside and a view of the Hwangnam-dong burial mounds through the window.
No post said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one.

What we do not know
- A similarly named shop is close by: Hwangnam Ueong Gimbap on Poseok-ro (takeout only, two-roll minimum, next to the snow-crab chicken stand) is a different business, and 7 of the 21 posts we received were about it. This shop is at Cheomseong-ro 81beon-gil 3 and has seating.
- No post described getting here by bus or train; writers walked from the Oreung car park or their lodging, or came by motorbike.
- Two posts list opening hours as daily 8:00–20:00, but both copied it from the listing. Nobody reported a break, last order or closing day, and we don't know whether it closes early when ingredients run out.
- Prices match across three menus photographed in September–October 2026: burdock gimbap 5,000 won, bibim glass noodles 7,000, janchi noodles 8,000. A roll plus noodles for one comes to 12,000 won; one solo diner found that more than enough and left some noodles.
- The only phone number, 0507-1330-6400, was copied from the listing by one post. Nobody said whether it takes reservations.
