Odaesan Gamasot Sikdang
오대산가마솥식당 Odaesan is the mountain the restaurant sits under, and a gamasot is a large cast-iron cauldron.
Compiled from 2 blog posts read in fullSources →
A mountain-greens Korean restaurant in the Odaesan food village at the entrance to Woljeongsa temple, Jinbu, Pyeongchang. Stone-pot bibimbap with wild greens or gondre was 15,000 won and potato pancake 13,000 won; there are also set meals like grilled-pollack jeongsik that cover the table with greens. We read 2 posts, from April to August 2026, both family visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The seasoning is mild. The one post that had the bibimbap said it was not salty, and the gondre bibimbap comes with soy sauce on the side so you season it yourself.
- One post noted many celebrity autographs on the walls.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

One post parked there and found the lot fairly big, free for two hours. The other post's "shared lot, 2 hours free" line came from a copied info block, so we did not count it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post said which floor they ate on. The address lists floors 1 and 2, but we don't know how they are used.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether wheelchairs or strollers get in — nobody mentioned it, which is not the same as saying there isn't one.
Nobody mentioned the toilets, so we don't know where they are or whether they are separate.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Both posts called the dining room large, but they split on spacing: one found the tables a bit close when busy, the other found them well spaced and easy with a child.
- One post went with a child, who enjoyed the potato pancake. The high-chair mention came only from a copied info block, so we did not count it.
- Both posts were family trips; we have nothing from people who went with friends or alone.
- No post described getting there by bus. One drove; the other only said they came from the nearby Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang. We don't know how practical public transport is.
- Neither post mentioned a wait, so we don't know about queues. One post said the neungi-mushroom chicken must be booked ahead.
- Both posts' hours were copied from an info block. They agree on 08:00 to 19:00 with last order at 18:30, but one says every day and the other lists only Monday to Friday, so weekend hours are unconfirmed. Neither gave a closing day.
- Prices come from a single August 2026 post (stone-pot bibimbap 15,000 won, potato pancake 13,000 won). Nobody gave prices for the set meals.
- The phone number 0507-1360-5355 and "reservations accepted" both came from copied info blocks; no post said they actually booked by phone.
