A jokbal and bossam shop in Wontong, Buk-myeon, Inje, right at the entrance to Wontong middle and high schools. We read 30 posts from 19 September 2025 to 7 October 2026; 29 describe an actual visit. Nearly all are pickup customers who phoned ahead, collected on time and ate at their lodging or home — 28 took food away, one ate in. Cold jokbal salad (naengchae jokbal) was ordered most (13), then spicy jokbal (7). The medium cold jokbal, spicy jokbal, plain jokbal and bossam were all written down at ₩38,000, and any main comes with noodles, rice balls, fries, a waffle and soup. Since January 2026 it closes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. This is a pickup shop. 28 of the 29 visits were takeaway, typically ordered by phone and ready on arrival. The single dine-in post had combination set A and noted the trotters stayed warm through the meal. Four posts recorded the ₩2,000 pickup discount on their own order.
  2. 18 posts said the portions are large. One wrote a medium cold jokbal fills two or three people; another said it was enough for four friends alongside other food; one had to pull out a bigger table. One post found the waffle and fries soggy.
  3. 11 posts said there was no porky smell; none said otherwise. On the spicy dishes, 8 called them spicy, 1 said the braised pollack was not very hot, and 2 were undecided. Four posts noted sweetness coming through the heat.
  4. No post called it expensive; 11 said it was reasonably priced or good value. Six got a stamp coupon — ten stamps for tray noodles, twenty for a jokbal.
2 more
  1. The front room is small, with a private room at the back. 10 posts saw seating, describing two or three tables; 6 saw the back room for groups. Two called the shop small, one roomier than expected, one was undecided. Four noted the toilet is inside.
  2. Six posts mentioned a kind owner. Six were repeat visits, several by locals who pick up regularly.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Getting inside

Toilet inside4 of 29 posts

No one wrote about a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits — we don't know, not that there is none. One post said it is on the ground floor. Whether the toilet is split by gender was not mentioned.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opening hours vary slightly between posts. Most say weekdays 16:00–22:30; single posts give 22:40, 22:00, or 14:00–23:40. On weekends, all 14 posts through July 2026 that listed weekend hours said 11:00, while 6 of the 8 from August on say 11:30 — likely a change, but these are copied listings, not observations. A December 2025 post said the weekly closure would become Tuesday and Wednesday from 1 January 2026; among 2026 posts, 13 say Tue–Wed and 8 say Tuesday only, the last of those dated 1 July 2026.
  • No post described arriving by bus; one said buses run there, but as advice, not experience. Four posts went by car.
  • No post mentioned a queue either way. Almost everyone pre-ordered for pickup, so we don't know whether dine-in guests wait.
  • Only the medium mains (₩38,000) and the half-and-half platter (₩43,000) were priced. No one recorded small or large sizes, the braised pollack, or the combination sets. One post relayed a ₩5,000 spicy-jokbal discount for October 2026.
  • Posts disagree on whether the stamp coupon works on weekends: four say no, two say yes, with no pattern over time.
  • Fourteen posts give the phone number 033-461-7636; one (January 2026) lists a mobile number instead. Pickup orders are placed by calling. Two posts relayed that group orders are taken even on closing days.
  • Most posts end with the same five hashtags in the same order, which suggests a commissioned campaign. None disclose sponsorship. Each still records what was eaten, so we counted them.
