A Korean rice-and-sides restaurant across the road from the Hourglass Park in Jeongdongjin, Gangneung, serving grilled dried pollack, a bulgogi-and-mushroom hot pot, grilled deodeok root, soft tofu and squid-and-pork stir-fry. We read 30 posts dated 31 January to 16 October 2026; 21 of them record actually eating here. The most-eaten dishes were the bulgogi hot pot (12 posts) and grilled pollack (11). On a menu list copied in October, grilled pollack is 23,000 won, the pollack set 17,000, the squid-and-pork stir-fry 18,000 per person, and the tofu and pollack-soup breakfasts 12,000; sets and stir-fries come with doenjang stew. Almost every post reuses the same shop blurb, which looks like a paid campaign, yet only 4 disclose sponsorship.

You park either in front of the shop or in the Hourglass Park lot across the road. Eight posts by people who actually parked say it works, and several used the free lot opposite. Two posts disagree on how many cars fit out front: one says three or four, the other five or six. The line 'small lot in front, free lot across the road' is shop copy repeated in nearly every post.

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether anyone came in with a wheelchair or stroller. One line saying 'wheelchair-accessible entrance and seating' is copied from the shop's listing, so we did not rely on it. That means nobody reported it, not that there is no step.
Only one post mentions the toilet, saying it is indoors. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 9 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The same blurb recurs in almost every post: Yongdae-ri pollack, group bookings up to 44, broth made fresh daily, local regulars, a ten-minute walk from Jeongdongjin station. Five posts share an identical hashtag block, and four left template debris such as a review-count widget or a 'paste tags here' line. We treated all of that as copied text and did not count it, and we set aside the nine posts with no record of a meal.
- No post describes arriving on foot or by bus; 'ten minutes' walk from Jeongdongjin station' is shop copy. The one post that came to Jeongdongjin by train took a taxi to the restaurant from the coastal-trail ticket booth.
- No post mentions waiting. One title promises 'why people queue from the morning', but the text never mentions a line. That means nobody reported a wait, not that there is none.
- Nearly every post copies the opening hours from the shop's listing. Of the 15 diners' posts that give hours, 14 say 08:00-20:00 daily with last orders at 19:30; one says it opens at 08:30. Two say it never closes.
- Most prices come from a single post that copied the menu in October. Only two diners recorded what they paid, both in June (squid-and-pork 18,000 won per person, deodeok 23,000 won), and both match the October list. No post totals up a meal; two say it is not expensive.
- The phone number given is 0507-1488-1481. 'Group bookings up to 44' is shop copy; no post describes actually booking.
