A dried-pollock and chodang soft-tofu restaurant on the second floor of a building in the alley right outside Jeongdongjin Station in Gangneung, under a big sign that reads 'Hwangtae and Sundubu'. We read only one post, from 3 August 2025. Its writer came on a weekday at 1 p.m. and had the grilled pollock (17,000 won, rice and soft tofu included) and the spicy seafood soft tofu (12,000 won), and said it felt cheap for a tourist spot.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 1 of 1 posts |

The restaurant is upstairs, on the second floor; the post warned it may be a little hard for older people who have trouble with their legs.
Nobody said whether the second floor is reached by stairs or a lift, or whether there is a step at the entrance. We don't know.
Nobody mentioned the toilets, so we don't know where they are or whether they are separate.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- No one wrote about waiting. The one post found three tables occupied on a weekday at 1 p.m.; we don't know about weekend mornings or peak season.
- The one post only says 'we', so we don't know who people come here with.
- Opening hours come from a single post: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at weekends, open every day. No other post confirms them.
- All prices come from the menu copied out in one August 2025 post; the only meal total we have is that post's two dishes, 29,000 won.
- The phone number 033-644-5830 comes from one post, which suggested groups book ahead; no post describes actually booking.
