These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.
Who goes, and when
Of the 5 posts we picked, 3 went with family or a group: one with a daughter, one with a mother, and one with a spouse on a rural-resettlement training trip.

Visiting from abroad
None of the posts mentioned foreign visitors or English help, and the official materials list no English information or interpreting. Entry is free and no advance booking is announced for general activities; the team archery battle (활공성전) recruited participants in advance via the website.
Weather and crowds
Last year's visitors found it properly chilly, including a clear but cold morning after overnight rain. One person who arrived early on Saturday found only stallholders and free parking; a Friday visitor said parking was easier than expected. We could not confirm this year's crowds, so early morning is the safer bet. Check the forecast before you go and bring a warm layer.
Getting there and access
Visitors who drove last year parked at the festival car park or near the Gaesimsa temple-site pagoda, then crossed a bridge over the Hancheon stream to get in. One advised parking near Yecheon-eup's permanent market, as the main car park is small. We could not confirm public transport, shuttle buses or road closures for 2026; the festival website has a Directions (오시는길) page. If you take a taxi, show the driver the Korean place name below.
Year by year
Autumn 2025
The 8th edition ran from 31 October to 2 November 2025 at Hancheon Sports Park. Visitors mentioned the linked farmers' market, a royal procession, Halloween bouncy castles and a haunted house, a morning walking event with prize draws, and a Paris Olympics gold medal display.
Tips from people who went
- Park near Yecheon-eup's permanent market and walk; the main car park is small.
- Buy bargain produce early; sweet potatoes sold out last year.
- Bring a warm layer; it was cold last year.
- Early mornings were quiet with free parking.
- Tent food stalls were rated better value than the food trucks.
