Miryang Spicy Food Festival
밀양 매운맛 축제
This edition · Data as of · Published ·
The Miryang Spicy Food Festival is a weekend of fiery street food, chilli-eating challenges and live shows on the riverside in Miryang, South Gyeongsang Province. In 2026 it runs from Saturday 31 October to Sunday 1 November, 11:00–21:00, and the Korea Tourism Organization listing says admission is free. We read 54 Korean blog posts from 2023–2025 but found no first-hand visit accounts, so this page relies on official information only.

Visiting from abroad
We found no mention of English-language signage, guides or programmes. Entry needs no ticket or booking, but a notice dated 21 October says the comedy show and the 'youth party' require pre-registration via a QR code on the official site — the form is in Korean, so you may need help. Enquiries: 055-359-4582, weekdays 09:00–18:00 only.
Getting there and access
The festival site is along the Miryang riverside (1-1 Sammun-dong, Miryang). Miryang Station is on the main Seoul–Busan rail line; from there a taxi is the simplest option — show the driver the destination below. The official site has parking and venue pages, but we could not confirm car parks or any shuttle bus.
