Game Culture Festival
게임문화축제
This edition · Data as of · Published ·
The Game Culture Festival is a government-backed celebration of video games. This year it runs from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November 2026 in Exhibition Hall 2 at BEXCO, Busan. The centrepiece is a hands-on exhibition of popular Korean game worlds. Alongside it are a live concert of game soundtracks reworked with traditional Korean instruments (19 Nov), a Valorant amateur final (21 Nov), and quizzes and stamp-tour prizes. The festival itself is listed as free, but it sits inside the G-STAR 2026 game show, so you need a G-STAR 2026 ticket booked in advance to get in. We read 47 blog posts from past years and found none that described a visit worth relying on, so this page uses official information only.

Visiting from abroad
We found no English-language guidance or programmes for overseas visitors; the official festival site is in Korean only. Entry requires a G-STAR 2026 BTC (general visitor) ticket: 18,000 won for adults, 8,000 won for youth born on or after 1 January 2008. Tickets are sold online only, until midnight the day before your visit — there are no on-site sales. Each ticket is valid only on the date you booked, with a limit of two per person per day; sales go through Ticketlink (customer centre 1588-7890, [email protected] for event questions). Visitors with a Korean disability card, national merit recipients and preschool children (born 2020 or later) enter free by collecting a ticket at the main information desk. Ticket checks close at 17:00 and last entry is 17:30; on Thursday 19 November doors open at 11:00. If you are travelling to Busan by train, Korail sells a day-trip package that bundles a KTX train to Busan with a G-STAR 2026 ticket, with the return train optional (one-way or return). It starts at 57,700 won, the price depends on the trains you pick, and it must be booked on korail.com by midnight on Sunday 15 November. The package ticket is good for one entry only. Checked 5 November. Quizzes and stage events are likely to be in Korean, so the hands-on exhibition is the most language-proof part.
Getting there and access
The official site gives the venue as BEXCO Exhibition Hall 2, 55 APEC-ro, Haeundae-gu, Busan. The tourism listing gives 30 APEC-ro instead, so search for the hall's name rather than the street number. BEXCO is close to BEXCO station on Busan Metro Line 2. By taxi, show the driver the Korean destination below. Parking and shuttle details for this year have not been published yet; check the directions page on kgcf.kr. The tourism listing also names T1 Base Camp Haeundae as a venue, but what happens there has not been announced.
