Surim Hoetjip is a large raw-fish restaurant a short walk from Haeundae Beach. Posts describe two kinds of meal: set courses at 50,000 won (A) or 70,000 won (B) per person, and 20,000-30,000 won bowls of mulhoe that come with spicy fish stew, rice and noodles. We read 30 posts dated May to October 2026; 27 are about this restaurant and 17 of those describe an actual visit. We set aside three: two about the buffet upstairs and one about a different Surim in Gijang.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Seven posts say the portions are big, and that is every post that mentions portion size. Two compare the mulhoe bowl to a washbasin, and one writer who thought 20,000 won was steep for mulhoe says the size settled it.
- Nine posts describe the private rooms first-hand. Five old friends ate in one; a weekday 7 p.m. visitor found the hall quiet but every room full. Two posts mention a screen at the entrance showing reservation names and table assignments.
- Two posts say the courses and the lunch set start at two people, so a solo diner is looking at mulhoe.
- Three posts say the seasoning is not salty. The one dissent is about the children's pork cutlet, whose sauce one family found too salty.

Parking

Two visitors describe using the parking validation (one hour, ticket from the counter). The rest copy the notice: a nearby 24-hour or beach lot, one hour for meal orders and two hours for raw-fish orders. One post says instead that there is a lot behind the restaurant with two hours free.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 1 of 16 posts |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 16 posts |
No visitor describes the floor or the way in. The address says ground floor of building A, and posts about the buffet say it sits on the floor above.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller got in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is a problem.
One post covers the toilets: inside the restaurant, fully separated by gender, with two stalls on the women's side.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-08-24 | 2 posts in one day |

| 2026-08-20 | 2 posts in one day |
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No visitor says they walked from the subway. Some posts copy directions like '542 m from Haeundae Station exit 7'; two visitors came by taxi.
- No post reports waiting. A weekday 7 p.m. visitor found plenty of seats; a weekend-lunch visitor found the reservations already full. Two posts say they booked ahead.
- Eleven visit posts copy the same hours: 10:30-22:30, a weekday break from 14:30 to 16:30, last order 21:30; six add that there is no break on weekends. All of it is copied from the listing rather than observed.
- Prices as written: mulhoe 20,000 won (plain), 25,000 (mixed), 30,000 (with abalone); A course 50,000 and B course 70,000 per person. The 35,000 won lunch set appears only in two templated posts. One visitor calls the place on the pricey side; three call it good value.
- Eleven posts give the phone number 0507-1391-5576 and two give 051-744-5570. Reservations are said to be taken by phone or through Naver.
- Three posts from August 2026 follow the same template, walking through the B course, lunch set, fruit-sauce mulhoe and A course in the same order. We did not count them as visits.
