Compiled from 6 blog posts read in fullSources →

A pork gukbap shop in the commercial floor of The Sharp Haeundae Adelis in Marine City, Haeundae, Busan, and a branch of the Subyeon Choego chain that started in Millak-dong. We read 18 posts dated 14 June to 19 October 2026. We set aside 12: eight were about Bueokgan Chinese, the restaurant upstairs in the same building, and four covered the Millak flagship or Gwangan branch, or just listed branch names. The remaining six all describe visits here. Five ate the hangjeong gukbap made with pork jowl, and the four that gave a price all said 14,000 won. The plain pork gukbap is 12,000 won, and you order from a tablet at the table.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four posts said the portions are large, describing a bowl packed with meat that seemed to keep coming. One said the mixed gukbap was almost too much to finish.
  2. Four posts said the pork has no gamey smell. One went in after reading map reviews that said otherwise and noticed none; we did not count those secondhand reviews.
  3. Three posts ordered and paid on a tablet at the table, and the same three mentioned a self-service bar for extra kimchi, radish kimchi and chives.
  4. Three posts called the room spacious, two of them mentioning wide gaps between tables. Two called it clean, one adding that it lacked the usual gukbap-shop smell.

Only one post described parking first-hand: they drove and found a space right in front. Three posts repeat that the building car park is free for 90 minutes, but only in copied info blocks, so we did not count them.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post described which floor it is on from experience; the address says ground floor, unit 111.

We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That is not a no — nobody mentioned it.

We don't know where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender; no post said.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Waits vary. One June 2026 post found a queue on arrival but got in quickly, with waiting numbers shown on a screen in the waiting area. A post from about 7 pm on a Saturday found the room full but was seated at once, and a line formed as they left. A weekday 9-10 am visit had the place to themselves. One post joined the CatchTable waitlist in advance and walked almost straight in.
  • Opinions on seasoning differ: one post found it pleasantly salty, while two said it was just right and needed nothing added.
  • Posts disagree on opening hours. Three say it is open 24 hours, one of them adding a 2:30-5:00 am break. Another lists day-by-day hours: midnight to 9 pm on Mondays, 8 am to midnight on Tuesdays, and 24 hours Wednesday to Sunday with the same early-morning break. All of these are copied listings, and one visitor warned that it is not truly round-the-clock, so check before you go.
  • Prices matched between the June and October 2026 posts: 14,000 won for hangjeong gukbap, 12,000 won for the plain or mixed gukbap and 5,000 won for the children's bowl. Nobody gave prices for the boiled pork, the set or the spicy scallion add-on.
  • No post described getting here by subway or bus. A note that it is 946 m from Dongbaek Station exit 1 is copied listing text. Two posts walked over from the Hanwha Resort or the seaside promenade.
  • Two posts went with friends and one with family including a child; that post and one other mentioned high chairs. No post went alone.
  • Only one post gave a phone number (0507-1384-9220), and none said whether phone reservations are taken. One post used CatchTable's remote waitlist.
  • Two posts from 14 October 2026 follow the same 'skip the flagship queue, come to Marine City' script and may be promotional. Both describe dishes they ate, so we counted them.
