Haeundae Obok Dwaeji Gukbap
해운대오복돼지국밥 Obok means the five blessings of traditional Korean wishing (long life, wealth, health, virtue and a peaceful end); dwaeji gukbap is Busan-style pork and rice soup, and Haeundae is the district.

A pork-soup house on Gunam-ro, the street running from Haeundae Station to the beach. It serves pork, sundae and mixed gukbap; ten posts ordered the two-person 'couple set' — two bowls, a small plate of boiled pork or sundae and a bottled drink — which four of them put at 34,000 won. Noodles and side dishes come from a self-service bar. We read 11 posts dated 12 August to 17 September 2026, and all 11 describe an actual meal. They cluster within five weeks, and one says it was a sponsored visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Seven posts went back for more kimchi and radish kimchi from the self-service bar; one lost count of the refills. Two say staff came round offering more before they had to get up. Three note the bar's noodles are one portion per person.
- Eight posts found no porky odour in the broth or the boiled pork. One describes the broth as slightly translucent rather than milky; another liked it without chilli paste. The repeated lines about 200 kg of domestic pork bones and sous-vide cooking are the house's own copy, quoted word for word across posts, so we don't count them.
- Seven posts call the portions large. The 'taster' pork plate surprised several, one said it had more meat in the bowl than any gukbap they had tried, and another's companion was full after half a bowl of rice.
- Five posts noticed many foreign diners; two add that the owner speaks fluent English with them.
2 more
- You join the queue on the CatchTable device by the door. Two posts waited: under ten minutes on a Sunday morning, and none after registering through the app before arriving. A weekday-evening post walked straight in and a 10:30 pm visit 'didn't wait long', so neither clearly waited. Talk of long weekend queues is hearsay.
- Three posts came with children. One couldn't see a high chair until a staff member brought one from the back, and found the soup mild enough for the baby; a Sunday-morning post says staff and owner looked after their daughter.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
The address says ground floor, but no post describes the floor or any steps from experience. That means nobody mentioned it, not that there are none.
Nobody says whether the entrance has a step or takes a wheelchair or stroller; even the post with a baby doesn't mention it.
Nobody says whether the toilet is inside. One post lists separate men's and women's toilets, but that line is copied from the listing.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Meat thickness splits one to one: one post found the boiled pork thick, another found the meat in the soup thin and broken — though they were describing different dishes.
- Nine posts list the opening hours as 24 hours, every day, no holidays — but all copied it from the listing. Actual visits were early morning, midday, evening and 10:30 pm; nobody went in the small hours.
- Only the set price is recorded: 34,000 won in four posts, '33,000 or 34,000 won' in one. No post gives a single bowl's price, so we can't say what a solo meal costs. Two posts called it good value.
- Four posts give the phone number 0507-1465-1488 and one gives 051-731-1488. Nobody says whether the house takes reservations; the queue runs through CatchTable.
- '119 m from exit 3 of Haeundae Station' is copied listing text; one post actually walked it and found it very close. Nobody came by bus.
- All 11 posts fall within five weeks, and seven repeat the same lines — third generation, a grandmother who started during the Korean War, 200 kg of bones simmered 24 hours, sous-vide. Only one admits a sponsored visit, but many read like commissioned copy. We left those lines out of every count.
