Eomyongbaek Dwaeji Gukbap

엄용백 돼지국밥 Dwaeji gukbap is Busan's pork-broth soup with rice; Eom Yong-baek reads as a person's name, though none of the posts explains it.

A pork-soup (dwaeji gukbap) house on Gunam-ro 24beon-gil in Haeundae, sharing a lot with the same family's grill restaurant; two posts say you walk around the back of the parking lot to find the entrance. Bowls come in several styles — rich house, rich Miryang-style, clear — and both posts that gave prices paid 14,000 won a bowl. It opens at 8 a.m. We read 4 posts from April 15 to October 19, 2026; all 4 describe an actual visit and all say the writers paid for themselves.

What sets it apart

  1. Three posts report a queue. One August visitor waited over an hour; another found none at 11 a.m. but watched a line form on the stairs while eating. The October visitor found people already waiting at 8:30 a.m. but got number 1 on the kiosk outside. The April post doesn't say clearly whether they waited.
  2. Two posts call it pricey for gukbap — 14,000 won is not cheap, one says — while the same two note a generous amount of meat.
  3. Both posts that ordered the soy-sauce noodles found them sweet — one loved it, the other found it too sweet to pair with the pork.
  4. Two posts mention counter seats; one who sat there could watch the cooking. The April post adds floor-seating tables at the back and single tables.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

No post describes the floor level from experience — only the address says 1st floor, and one post mentions the queue standing on stairs.

We don't know about steps at the entrance or wheelchair/stroller access — nobody wrote about it, which isn't the same as there being none.

We don't know whether the restroom is inside or separated by gender; one post only mentions a Dyson hand dryer there.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Opening hours appear only in copied listings: 8:00–20:30 (last order 19:30) in April 2026, 8:00–21:00 (last order 20:00) in August — they may have changed in between. No post mentions a closing day.
  • No one describes arriving by subway or bus; 'five minutes from Haeundae Station' is copied listing text in one post.
  • No one went alone: two posts with a partner or spouse, one with a friend, one with family and a toddler. The idea that solo diners would be comfortable at the counter is the writers' guess.
  • Known prices: 14,000 won per bowl and 18,000 won for the pork-and-noodle plate. Nobody gave prices for the tasting suyuk or the 'geuksang' bowl; one post paid 28,000 won for two bowls.
  • No post lists a phone number, and we don't know whether reservations are taken — posts only mention waitlist sign-up at the kiosk outside or via the CatchTable app.
