Baebijang Bossam Haeundae-jeom
배비장보쌈 해운대점 The name comes from Baebijang-jeon, a satirical Joseon-era tale about an official called Bae Bijang; one post says the founder, also surnamed Bae, borrowed it, and bossam is boiled pork eaten wrapped with kimchi and greens.

Baebijang Bossam's Haeundae branch is a standalone building near Dongbaek Station in Haeundae, Busan, with parking on the ground floor and the dining room upstairs. Order the Baebijang set at 18,000 won a head (two minimum) or the bossam platter at 39,000 won for two, and the table fills with cream soup, cabbage soup, steamed egg and spicy glass noodles; many posts also got a small plate of sweet-and-sour pork they never ordered. We read 30 posts dated December 26, 2025 to October 18, 2026, and 26 of them describe a visit. We set aside two that were about other restaurants (the Guseo flagship in Geumjeong-gu and a bar in Dongnae) and two that were multi-restaurant listings. The Guseo flagship is a separate branch with a slightly different menu.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a wait at weekend lunch and on holidays. Four posts waited or saw a queue; one found plenty of tables. One saw a long line at weekend lunch; another walked in right at Saturday opening but found the waiting seats full on the way out. A third waited behind two groups on a weekday evening, and a Christmas-lunch family skipped the crowded waiting area with a booking for nine. One weekday-evening visit had room to spare. Nine posts mention a waiting area.
- There are plenty of private rooms. Fourteen posts saw rooms or group seating; one counted six rooms to the left of the entrance, and a family of nine was shown to room number 4. Eight posts went as a family, far more than with friends (2) or as a large group (2).
- There's a lounge for after the meal. Sikhye, instant coffee and cocoa are free to help yourself to; coffee from the self-serve machine costs extra, with three posts putting an americano at 1,000 won. Eight posts mention the paid coffee machine.
- The sets need at least two orders, as three posts note. A party of three tried to order for two and add a portion, ended up ordering for three, and felt the server turned cold — the only post out of six that didn't call the staff friendly.
2 more
- No post called it expensive; eight said the spread was good for the money, one noting the cold-bossam set came to about 20,000 won a head with sides and noodles. A Christmas visitor got three 5,000-won vouchers, one for every 50,000 won spent.
- Two posts actually came by subway — one crossed the street from Dongbaek Station exit 4 and saw it right away, another walked over from the Haeundae Station side. The repeated '200-254 m from exit 4' lines are copied info, not counted.

Parking
19 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Parking leads almost every post. Of the 26 visits, 19 used or saw the lot and called it big, and 13 described its size — big enough for coach buses, with spaces both outside and under the building. One post says the ground floor is all parking and the restaurant is upstairs. Valet only shows up in copied info blocks and hearsay, so we didn't count it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 8 of 26 posts |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 5 of 26 posts |
| Toilet inside | 3 of 26 posts |
The dining room is on the second floor. Eight posts describe going up by stairs or lift, and five mention the elevator. One notes two entrances — one up a staircase, one by the elevator — and another stepped out of the lift straight into the waiting area.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that's unknown, not absent. Five posts mention an elevator; 'wheelchair accessible' appears only in one copied info block.
Three posts say the restrooms are inside the restaurant. One noticed the restroom was air-conditioned; another said it was roomy and clean.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Portions split. Six posts found it generous; two who had the set said the meat was on the light side, though enough with the noodles — hence the repeated advice to order the bossam platter if you want more meat. Yet another two-person set order left one poster wondering if they could finish it.
- Twenty-four posts agree on hours of 11:30 to 22:00 daily, but most copied them from an info block. Only one gives a 21:00 last order, and three say it never closes.
- Over twenty posts list the phone number, 051-742-7755. Only one actually booked (nine people via Naver); the CatchTable and Naver booking options otherwise appear in info blocks or advice. Several posts recommend booking for weekend lunch.
- Prices stayed the same from December 2025 to October 2026. The one mismatch is the spicy buckwheat noodles: 6,000 won on the copied menus, 8,000 won in one post.
- Seven posts from August 6 to October 6, 2026 repeat the same keyword bundle ('Busan Korean set-meal restaurant', 'Haeundae hanjeongsik', 'Dongbaek hanjeongsik') and the same house lines — '34 years of tradition', 'kimchi made daily at our own factory'. None discloses sponsorship and all describe a meal, so we counted them, but they look like they share a template. We didn't use the house lines as evidence.
