A pufferfish-soup house in Dongnae's Oncheonjang hot-spring quarter, right beside the Heosimcheong spa and Hotel Nongshim. You choose eunbok, milbok, kkachi-bok or tiger puffer, clear or spicy, often with fried pufferfish or dressed pufferfish skin. Only one post, from October 2026, gave prices: 15,000 won for eunbok, 22,000 for milbok, 23,000 for kkachi-bok (clear). Posts describe going after a soak, for a hangover breakfast, or with older family. We read 30 posts dated 30 September 2025 to 26 October 2026; 13 describe eating here. The other 17 were about other Geumsu Bokguk branches, mainly Haeundae and Centum, or merely listed the name.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four posts went with family: one couple took the wife's mother, one wife went with her husband and father-in-law, one with her husband. Two of those four are the same writer describing one dinner on 13 September twice. Two more posts went in groups: eleven university classmates nursing hangovers, and a party of grandparents.
  2. Three posts called the room clean and one disagreed. The positive ones mention wood-heavy interiors, a room bigger inside than it looks from the street, and pufferfish hanging from the ceiling; two called it spacious. One post from 26 October 2026 was thoroughly disappointed and said the Centum branch was cleaner and friendlier.
  3. Two posts said the broth has no fishy or off smell. Two describe adding vinegar to the clear broth, which comes with bean sprouts and water parsley.

Getting inside

No post says which floor the dining room is on. That does not mean ground level; nobody mentioned it.

Nobody mentioned an entrance step, stairs, or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller.

No post says whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Two posts found the staff friendly, one did not. One says a refill of side dishes came back larger; another says staff explained how to eat the soup despite a rush.
  • The fried dishes split one to one: the tiger-puffer fry was called crisp, the couple-set fry soft outside. They were different dishes, so this is not one dish judged two ways.
  • Opening hours differ from post to post. Two just say 24 hours. An April 2026 post says it closes at 22:00 on Sundays with a 03:00-05:30 break except Mondays; a May post says it shuts from 20:00 Sunday to 10:00 Monday with a 15:00-17:30 break; an October post gives 08:00-22:00 Monday and Tuesday, 08:00-24:00 Wednesday, and 24 hours Thursday to Sunday. No two agree, so check before going.
  • No post records a wait time. One weekend visit near 2 pm found it busy and guessed peak hours would mean a queue; one said it is easier to get into than the Haeundae flagship; one went around 10 am and found it quiet.
  • One post came by public transport, taking Line 1 from Busan Station straight to Heosimcheong next door. Nobody gave the walking time from the station.
  • Only one post, from October 2026, gave prices. Nobody gave prices for the sets, fried dishes, the large size, or the weekday breakfast menu that one post says offers soup in the 10,000-won range.
  • No post gives this branch's phone number or says whether it takes reservations; one post only advises calling ahead.
