Jaekseun Pija Gwanalli-jeom

잭슨피자 광안리점 Jackson is a personal name used as the brand of a pizza chain — the posts call it a chain (체인점) — and this is its Gwangalli Beach branch.

Compiled from 13 blog posts read in fullSources →

A chain pizza shop occupying three floors of a building at the Namcheon-dong end of Gwangalli Beach, across from the SUP zone. You order and pay at the ground-floor counter, then climb to the second or third floor to eat facing the sea — or take the pizza out to the beach. Pizzas come in personal (4 slices), regular (6) and large (8); a personal Super Jackson was ₩13,800 in July 2026 and a personal margherita ₩8,800 in November 2024. We read 16 posts from November 2024 to September 2026; 13 describe actually eating here.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. The view of Gwangan Bridge from the windows is the reason most posts give for coming. Three posts specifically mention window seats or the view through the glass, and many more simply say they ate looking at the sea. One added that the drone show is visible though distant, and that the sea looks better from the second floor than the third.
  2. They pour draft beer, and five posts mention it; three drank it with their pizza. One August 2026 post had to switch to soda because the tap machine was broken that day.
  3. Heaviness comes up repeatedly: three posts called the Legend, the Zesty Jackson or the gochujang wings rich or greasy, and a fourth said it 'might feel a little heavy'. Many posts recommend the red pepper flakes, hot sauce and Parmesan set on every table. On salt, one post found the bacon-cheddar-jalapeño salty and another said nothing was overly salty.
  4. Three posts took the pizza out and ate it on the beach right in front (one under the SUP-zone awning). The post that ordered through the app said red pepper and Parmesan packets were included. The 10% walk-in takeout discount is the shop's posted notice, repeated by several posts; the app-order post said it did not get the discount.

There is no shop parking; three posts say so in their own words and point to nearby public or paid lots. One post that came by car parked at the Millak reclaimed-land public lot and walked over (November 2024, when it was temporarily free).

Seating is on the second and third floors; nine posts mention the second floor. One counted three or four tables there, another described high bar-style seats, and another said most tables were for two with a single four-top. One post said chairs with backrests are on the third floor. Both floors are not always open: an August 2025 post found only the third floor open despite a queue, and a February 2026 post found the third floor dark.

The floors are linked only by stairs. Two posts say there is no lift, and one says that because of this wheelchair users can only take out or order delivery. Two posts separately warn the stairs are steep. Nobody mentioned whether the ground-floor entrance has a step — we don't know, which is not the same as there being none.

Only one post mentions the toilet, saying it is on the second floor. Nobody said whether it is split by gender or how big it is.

No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 16 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post describes getting here by subway or bus; posts only mention walking along the beach or parking elsewhere and walking.
  • One post (August 2025) saw a queue that looked long because the second floor was closed, though they themselves walked in. Another only said you can avoid waiting if you time it right. No post gives a waiting time. Two posts mention a couple of seats on the ground floor for people waiting for takeout.
  • Opening hours appear only as copied info blocks, and they shift over time: three posts from November 2024 to April 2025 give a 10 pm close, three from August 2025 on give 9:50 pm. Two 2026 posts say it stays open until 11:50 pm Thursday to Saturday. Last orders differ — 8:50 pm in one post, 9:10 pm for dine-in in another.
  • Only three posts give prices, from different periods, so we can't state a single meal cost. Personal pizzas ran ₩8,800–14,000, fries ₩6,000, drinks ₩3,000. One post felt the large was small for the money. Pickles were ₩500 extra in November 2024; 2026 posts only say they are brought to the table, so we don't know whether they still cost extra.
  • Three posts list the phone number as 051-622-0717. The only hint about reservations is the word 'reservations' in one post's copied info block; no one wrote that they booked.
