Noodle house
Yungkangjjie
융캉찌에 Yungkangjjie is the Korean rendering of Yongkang Jie (永康街), a food street in Taipei; the house names itself after it and dresses up as a Taipei backstreet eatery.

Yungkangjjie is a Taiwanese noodle-and-rice-bowl shop at the far end of Gwangalli beach, in the lane beside the Millak raw-fish market building. Beef noodle soup is 11,000 won, dandan noodles 10,000 won, mala intestine noodles 11,500 won; rice bowls run 10,000-14,000 won and sides 4,000-13,000 won. Many pairs ordered one noodle dish plus a rice bowl or a fried side to share, and 16 of the 23 visits ordered the beef noodle soup. Pu'er tea and pickled suancai are self-serve; black vinegar and chili paste sit on the tables. We read 30 posts dated 6 September to 7 October 2026: 27 are about this place and 23 describe an actual meal there.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Waiting depends on when you go. Three posts queued or saw a queue: one lined up at opening on Chuseok, got in second and watched it fill "right away"; one joined a line that had formed before opening; one walked straight in at opening but found people waiting when leaving. Four posts did not wait at all (a weekday evening, a weekday around 8 pm, a Saturday between noon and 1). Four more did not wait themselves but added that weekends or peak times usually mean a line. Several mention remote queuing via CatchTable; one says it was switched off on Chuseok day.
- It is a small room: four posts say it is not spacious. Tables are two- and four-tops and small; a party of five had to split across neighbouring tables, and another diner saw a sign saying groups of five or more sit at two separate tables. One post felt the spacing between tables was generous despite the size.
- Heat: six posts found something spicy (the mala intestine noodles, the dandan noodles, the mapo tofu, beef soup with chili paste added). One post differs, calling the mala noodles intense but not hot.
- There is a review promotion: four posts mention it, with a free iced black tea or cola for taking part.
1 more
- Three posts found the staff kind: one asked for ice because the drinks weren't cold enough and got it gladly, one praised the floor staff, one singled out the owner.

There is no parking of its own: five posts say so, all pointing to nearby paid lots. One driver found the closest public lot (Millak Sealand Market) had room for only about eight cars, and ended up at the Millak public lot seven minutes' walk away — about three hours for 3,000 won, versus roughly 4,000 won an hour elsewhere nearby.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 2 (of 23 posts read) |
|---|
No one described which floor it is on from experience; only the address says ground floor.
Nobody mentioned whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. We simply don't know.
The toilet is not inside the shop: two posts say you use the building's shared toilet — one notes no code or key is needed, the other that it is not very clean and suggests going beforehand.
Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one post's copied info block, so we don't rely on it; it is a shared building toilet in any case.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices went up. One post that appears to date from August lists beef noodle soup at 10,500 won, dandan 9,500, pork rice bowl 13,000, fried eggplant 6,500 and cream shrimp 12,000; posts from 6 September on show 11,000, 10,000, 14,000, 7,500 and 13,000. Mapo tofu (10,000) and mala noodles (11,500) are unchanged. That post is stamped 19 September, but its post number and summer seasonal menu suggest it was written earlier.
- Opening hours: all 16 visit posts that list them agree on 11:00-21:30 daily with a 15:00-16:00 break and last order at 21:00, but every one copied this from the shop's listing. No visitor mentions a regular closing day — which means nobody wrote about it, not that there isn't one.
- Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1441-6011. Whether it takes reservations we don't know: posts describe CatchTable remote queuing, and nobody booked a table in advance. One diner phoned ahead to check it would be open on Chuseok.
- Two posts arrived by public transport: one by bus 41 to the Millak Golmok Market stop and a four-minute walk, one on foot from Gwangan subway station. The "18 minutes from Exit 3" figure is copied listing info.
- That dogs are allowed in a carrier appears only in three posts sharing the same wording, and none actually brought a dog. We treat it as the shop's own claim and don't count it.
- Several September posts share phrasing ("selected for the Busan Michelin Guide in 2024 … and again in 2026", Blue Ribbon, dog-friendly) and identical hashtag strings. None discloses sponsorship, but they look like the same commissioned template. We counted those that describe an actual meal and skipped the one with no visit. The Michelin and Blue Ribbon mentions are the shop's own billing, repeated.
- Opinions differ on the beef noodles: two posts call them udon-thick or thicker than expected, one calls them thin like ramen.
