Cafe

ddubucks

뚜벅스 광안점 Ttubeokseu Gwangan-jeom Ttubeokseu plays on ttubeogi, Korean slang for someone getting around on foot; posts say it means a café for walking travellers, which is why it holds luggage for customers.

Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →

A seventh-floor café facing Gwangalli beach at 239 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro. You take the lift up, order at a kiosk, and drink or eat dessert facing Gwangan Bridge through floor-to-ceiling windows or from the terrace. Americano is 6,000 won, cream-topped coffees 8,000–8,500 won, shaved ice 19,500–24,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 7 May to 7 October 2026; 24 describe a visit, though 17 of those follow one template, flagged below.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. The windows are the point: 22 visit posts describe Gwangan Bridge and the beach through the glass. High bar stools line the windows facing the sea, with round tables and long group tables further in. Several posts watched the Saturday drone show from the window seats; the 7 October post found every window seat already taken.
  2. Fifteen posts describe an outdoor terrace with artificial turf and white round tables, sea on one side and city on the other. Two May 2026 posts said it had just been rebuilt.
  3. You order at two kiosks by the entrance (16 posts), collect your tray when your number is called and return it yourself. Two posts read a sign between the kiosks: one drink per person, desserts not counting.
  4. No takeaway: two posts say the café uses no disposables, so even leftover drinks can't be packed. One adds that bringing your own tumbler takes 1,000 won off each drink.

  1. There are no sockets at the tables; phones charge at a wall station with cables for each type (13 posts). A September post warns that the outlets are blocked, so it's no place for a laptop. Many posts also mention a water dispenser and a mouthwash dispenser by the toilets.

There's no café parking. The one post that drove used the paid Gwangan Sinho lot nearby; the 'no dedicated parking' lines elsewhere are copied.

Lift to the floor5 of 24 posts
Toilet inside4 of 24 posts

Four posts describe riding up to the seventh floor; nobody mentioned seating on any other floor.

The building lift opens straight into the café on the seventh floor (5 posts mention it). One September post admits the old-looking building made them hesitate before going in.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. Two posts only say the lift opens straight into the café with no door; that isn't the same as step-free.

Four posts put the toilets inside the café and four say they are split by gender. Nobody mentioned an accessible toilet.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Only one post describes arriving by subway — down from Gwangan Station exit 3 toward the beach, and it found the route easy. The '10 minutes from exit 3' line in other posts is copied information.
  • No post reports waiting. An October post found it crowded but with seats free; an August weekend post found it nearly full. That isn't proof there's never a queue — nobody wrote about one.
  • Opinions on the chairs split one to one: one post relaxed against the backrest, a September post found the bar stools too high and narrow for long stays.
  • Opening hours vary between posts, and all are copied blocks: 15 template posts say 09:30–22:30, two others 21:30; the 7 October and 23 September posts say 09:30–21:30 daily (last order 20:55); a June post says 21:30 weekdays and 22:30 weekends; an August post says 23:00, or midnight on Friday and Saturday. We can't tell whether hours change by season.
  • Prices come from one September post's copy of the menu and from what people ordered: drinks 6,000–8,500 won, desserts 8,500–9,500 won, shaved ice 19,500–24,000 won. The croffle was 11,500 won in a June post and 8,500 won (12,000 won for two pieces) in October; we can't tell if that's size or a price change. One post called the prices reasonable.
  • The phone number 0507-1381-5415 is copied across many posts. Nobody said whether you can reserve a table normally; two October posts saw notices selling seats for the fireworks festival.
  • Of the 24 visit posts, 17 share one template: 15 went up on 3–4 October 2026 and 2 on 7 May, with the same info block and the same running order (kiosk, display case, seats, terrace, charging, water, mouthwash). None discloses sponsorship, and four also plug a package at another business in the building. We counted them, but don't weigh them like the 7 independent visits. A 24 September post disclosed it was supplied by the café and is not counted as a visit.
