Taebaegi Chojang
태백이초장 A chojang is the vinegared red-pepper dipping sauce for raw fish; a chojang house is where you bring fish bought at the market and pay a per-person table charge. 'Taebaegi' is the house's own name, and no post explains it.

A chojang house on the ground floor of the E-Pyeonhansesang Ocean Terrace 3 arcade, next to Millak The Market at Gwangalli. You bring sashimi from the nearby Millak fish markets, or ask the house to have some sent over, pay a per-person table charge, and order spicy fish stew (10,000 won, or 18,000 won for a small in another post), seafood ramyeon (5,000 won) and soju (5,000 won). Four posts put the table charge at 6,000 won, one at 5,000 won. We read 8 posts from Aug 2025 to Sept 2026; one was about a different chojang house in the same arcade, so we counted the 7 visits.

What sets it apart
- Three posts called it clean because the building is new, and all three placed it on the ground floor. One described round tables, chairs with storage for bags, and a side stand set out for bottles.
- One post was a solo visit. The owner seemed hesitant about a single diner at 6,000 won a head; the writer offered to pay for two and was charged 10,000 won. The fish was paid for separately, by bank transfer, to the person who brought it.
- One family brought a baby and fed it at the table during the roughly 40 minutes it took for their steamed crab to arrive from the market.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 6 posts read) |

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That is not a no; nobody wrote about it.
No visitor wrote about where the toilet is. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in information one post copied.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Posts disagree on the table charge: four say 6,000 won a head, one Sept 2025 post says 5,000 won, and one noted that Naver lists 5,000 won while 6,000 was charged. The stew is 10,000 won in one post and 18,000 won for a small in another. Fish is paid for separately, so the cost of a meal depends on what you buy.
- We don't know the opening hours. One post copied 'no information', another was only told the house stays open while there are customers, and the hours in a third belong to the fish market it was paired with.
- The phone number is unsettled: 010-4800-0748 and 0507-1349-0748 each appear in one post. No post says whether the house takes reservations; in one, the fish seller found the table for them.
- No post describes getting there by subway or bus; one walked along the beachfront from Gwangalli.
- No post mentions queuing here. One found it quiet early and full by the time they left; another found it nearly empty in the afternoon. Waits of 20-30 and 40 minutes were for fish coming from the market, so we didn't count them.
- Company is one post each: alone, family with a baby, a party of six. Not enough to say who the place suits.
