Sorang
소랑 Sorang reads as the Jeju-dialect form of sarang, 'love'; none of the posts explain the name.

Sorang is a small steak spot on the second floor of a red-brick house, down an alley a block or two back from Gwangalli beach in Busan (Gwanganhaebyeon-ro 255beon-gil 20-5); the sashimi bar Greenpachi occupies the ground floor. Nearly everyone orders the skirt steak (130 g a portion, two-portion minimum) and the bulgogi cream pasta. 2026 posts give 14,000 won a portion for the steak and 12,000 for the pasta, and one diner put dinner for two at about 40,000 won. The steak arrives rare on a sizzling iron plate. We read 14 posts dated August 2025 to October 2026, set aside 4 that were about other places, and counted the remaining 10 visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Five posts say they waited: 15 minutes on a weekday with one party ahead, 40 minutes on a weekend evening, and three hours on a Saturday evening in August 2025. One diner arrived at 4:40 pm and was already fourth in line; another watched the queue go from four parties to more than eight within moments. The line runs through the CatchTable app. One post describes waiting on small chairs in a corner of the ground floor, and another says turnover is slow because there are few tables and the owner cooks alone.
- Two posts note a two-hour seating limit, and three say the first order must total at least 25,000 won (one adds that drinks count). Two mention complimentary snacks: seasoned pretzels, or chips with salad and pickled onion.
- Three posts say the bulgogi cream pasta isn't heavy: one was surprised, another says it is not cloying at all. One notes chili gives it a light heat, and another says they'll make it spicier on request. A single post from August 2025 disagrees, describing noodles that broke apart as if underdone and a cheap-pasta taste.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 5 of 10 posts |

| Toilet inside | 1 of 10 posts |
Five posts place it on the building's second floor. Three give the same directions: turn into the alley between Kkeutijip and Pyoryu and look for the red-brick house. One warns not to confuse it with Greenpachi downstairs. It is a converted house with five or six four-person tables split between an inner room and the front room, and two posts call the space small or cramped.
It is upstairs on the second floor, not in a basement. No one says whether stairs are the only way up or whether there's an elevator.
No one mentions a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That's a gap in the posts, not a confirmed no. Keep in mind it's the second floor of an old house. One post mentions a high chair.
Only one post says the restroom is inside the restaurant; none says whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up: posts from August-September 2025 give 13,000 won a portion for the steak (26,000 for two), while posts from August 2026 on give 14,000 (28,000 for two). Five posts call the prices easy on the wallet. The pasta stays at 12,000 won; highball prices split between 8,000 and 9,000.
- One regular who has been going since 2022 says the restaurant started near Kyungsung and Pukyong universities and later moved to Gwangalli. The post doesn't say when, and every post we read is about the current Gwangalli location.
- Opening hours come only from copied listings, not from anyone's visit. Four 2026 posts broadly agree: Tuesday to Saturday 17:00-23:30 (last order 22:30), Sunday 12:00-23:00 with a 15:00-17:00 break (last order 22:00), closed Mondays. A September 2025 post listed 17:00-23:30 daily, closed Mondays, with no Sunday lunch. One diner who went in 2024 warns that it closes early for a drinking spot.
- Posts split on public transport. One says it's close enough to the subway for travelers on foot; another says it's a bit of a walk from Gwangan station. A copied listing puts it 920 m from Gwangan station exit 1.
- Few posts say who they came with: two went with friends and one was on a trip with a partner. Several recommend it as a date spot, but most don't say who they actually went with.
- One post (August 2025, after a three-hour wait) said the food would have been merely 'huh, okay' even with no wait, and found the steak tough. The other posts don't share that view.
- Three posts copy the phone number 051-977-6826. On reservations, posts use 'book on CatchTable' and 'join the CatchTable waitlist' interchangeably, so we can't tell whether you can reserve a table ahead or only queue remotely.
