A dining bar on a side street in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, a short walk from Gwangalli Beach. Four posts say the chef runs it alone, cooking and serving Western and Japanese-leaning plates to go with drinks. Prices posts gave: clam-and-sake pasta 23,000 won, sous-vide flat-iron steak 32,000, Korean beef tataki 30,000, mackerel bar sushi 19,000, Korean melon salad 7,000. Two posts note a 20,000-won minimum order. There is a counter facing the open kitchen, tables, and window seats. We read 8 posts from 2 May to 7 October 2026. Seven describe an actual visit; the eighth is a compiled listing by someone who never went. Two of the seven are by the same person, in July and October.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four posts say a free starter arrives before anything else, though it changed by visit: cabbage salad twice, crackers with tomato and cheese once, sesame-oil cucumber once. Other posts mention getting banana brûlée, melon salad, melon with prosciutto or plum wine on the house. None disclosed sponsorship.
  2. Five posts describe the seating: a counter facing the chef at work, plus tables and a window bar. Two call it an open kitchen, and one says you can see Gwangan Bridge from the window bar. One post is by someone who drank alone at the counter.
  3. Four posts say the prices are reasonable and none call them high. One mentions the 7,000-won melon salad, another says it's good value for Gwangalli. Two say the portions are large.

Getting inside

Step at the entrance3 of 7 posts
Toilet inside1 of 7 posts

The posts agree it's not a basement but about half a floor up. They don't agree on what floor to call it: the address says first, one post says it felt like 1.5.

The address says ground floor, but three posts describe climbing stairs to get in: about half a flight, roughly five steps. A fourth said it felt like a floor and a half up.

Three posts mention steps at the entrance, but nobody says whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in or whether there is a ramp.

Only one post mentions the toilet: inside, behind the counter, small but clean. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 8 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Speed splits one to one. A July post said dishes came out without any sense of waiting despite the one-person kitchen; a May post said mains took around 15 to 20 minutes.
  • No post describes queuing. One mentions waiting seats out front; another says the room is small, so check on weekends, though it had space on a weeknight. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there's never a wait.
  • No visitor described the walk from a subway station or bus stop. The '827 m from Gwangan Station exit 1' line comes from the listing post by a non-visitor, so we didn't count it. One post says the beach is about two minutes' walk away.
  • Six posts give the same hours, 17:00 to 02:00 daily, and five give last order at 00:30. All of these are copied info blocks, and no post mentions a day off.
  • Two phone numbers appear: 0507-1329-0898 in two posts by the same blogger, and 010-8238-0898 in another. Nobody says whether it takes reservations. Many dishes, such as the tomato seafood pasta, cod-roe cream pasta and pork chashu, appear without a price, so the posts don't let us total up a meal.
