PYORYU
표류 Pyoryu Pyoryu (漂流) means drifting at sea; the bar plays the sound of waves under its music to match the name.

A cocktail and highball bar in an alley at the east end of Gwangalli Beach. Alongside signature drinks like the soy-milk highball and the 'Cloudtail', it serves fruit-and-cheese plates and heartier dishes such as a corn gnocchi gratin. Posts list highballs at 11,000 to 13,000 won, cocktails at 13,000 to 16,000 won and food at 12,000 to 19,000 won. We read 14 posts dated 22 July to 30 September 2026; 12 describe an actual visit, one only mentions the bar in passing in a post about another restaurant, and one was not about this bar at all.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The bar takes song requests: five posts mention writing a song on a slip or request form at the table, and one noted the slip says 'no hip-hop'. Another saw LPs on display but never saw one actually played.
- There is a mix of bar seats and tables: eight posts describe where they sat, mentioning seats at the bar facing the bartender, two- and four-person tables and round tables. One post lists single, two- and four-person seats; another found about two tables in a darker nook further inside.
- Dates dominate: four posts went with a partner or spouse, three with friends, one as a group of four, one with a younger sibling. One group of three women joked they were the only non-couple in the room.
- Many posts say pets are welcome, but mostly as copied info. Two posts describe what they saw: a water bowl for pets by the entrance. None of the posts brought an animal.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post mentions the floor from experience; '1st floor' appears only in the address.
We don't know whether the entrance has a step or is wheelchair- or stroller-accessible; no one mentioned it.
We don't know where the toilet is. One post's copied info block says separate men's and women's toilets, but nobody wrote about using it. That means no one said, not that there isn't one.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 13 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the size differ: two posts found it small (not many seats, maybe under ten parties at most), while one found it roomier than expected.
- Waiting is mixed, one post each way: one saw the room fill at opening with a queue forming soon after; another walked in around 10 p.m. on a Saturday without a long wait. A third only says it was nearly full. 'Lots of waiting, book ahead' appears only in copied info blocks, so we did not count it.
- Six posts read like commissioned copy: they repeat the same points in nearly the same order (the 'only soy-milk highball in Busan', wave sounds under the music, the front bar display, chili cheese sticks). Only one discloses sponsorship. We treated those lines as the bar's own pitch, not evidence.
- Opening hours: seven posts give daily 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. (last order 1:30 a.m.), but all from copied info blocks, not experience. No post mentions a closing day.
- Two phone numbers appear: 0507-1329-9832 in three posts, 010-9537-4746 in one. Booking is unclear too; the copied info variously says booking is required, recommended, possible, or walk-in only, and no post actually booked.
- Prices come from four posts dated July to September 2026. One post called it good value compared with nearby cocktail bars; none called it expensive.
- No post describes actually walking from the subway or a bus stop; '903 m from Gwangan Station exit 1' and '10 minutes' walk' are copied info.
