OVENUS
오브너스 Obeuneoseu Ovenus reads as oven plus us — one blogger guessed it that way and another wrote it 'Oven Us'; the house bakes its own croissants on site.
Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →
Ovenus is a bakery café on the first two floors of a four-storey building beside Millak Waterside Park in Suyeong-gu, Busan (the upper floors are a guesthouse). People come for croissants, salt bread and sangtu cookies baked on site, an americano at 4,500–5,000 won or a 4,000-won Sangha Farm ice cream, and a seat upstairs looking toward Gwangan Bridge. We read 30 posts dated 11 May to 6 October 2026; 27 describe a visit. Two were about a neighbouring pizza place and the guesthouse upstairs and were set aside, and one only introduced the place. Hours got longer around June: posts up to 13 June give 10:00–22:30, posts from 16 June on give 10:00–23:00.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Ten posts call it quiet. It sits by the waterside park, away from the Gwangalli beach strip, and several visitors came to work on laptops — one saw nobody but people working. Four posts mention outlets at the seats and three mention Wi-Fi.
- Seven posts took bread home — sangtu cookies, financiers, a vegan black-rice roll, or a bag bought on a second visit the next day. Four say the pastry case was largely empty by afternoon or evening; one found everything sold out at dinnertime.
- Seven posts call the prices fair and none calls them high. Most croissants are 4,500 won (plain 3,800), salt breads 3,000–4,000, sangtu cookies 5,500 and cake slices 6,500–7,000. One post put it at the local average for a large café.
- Of the posts that say who they came with, eight came as a couple, three with friends, one with a book club and one alone. Seven say they have been more than once — one calls it a regular stop after walks.

Parking

Parking is a handful of spaces out front. Twelve posts say you can park there, and seven of the nine that give a number say three cars. Five note a two-hour limit. The usual advice is the public lot at the waterside children's pool; posts from July on say a purchase of 10,000 won or more gets 1,000 won off parking there (one May post said there was no discount). Only one post says it actually parked out front, finding it empty late in the day.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 22 of 27 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 9 (of 27 posts read) |
| Lift to the floor | yes 0 · no 1 (of 27 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 6 of 27 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 27 posts |
The place to sit is upstairs. Twenty-two posts sat on or described the second floor, several saying it is roughly twice the size of the ground floor. Fourteen mention windows looking out to Gwangan Bridge and the sea, though not the whole bridge — one says it shows 'just a little', another that the ocean view is not that striking. The ground floor is described as the counter, a few four-seat tables and a long shared table.
Nobody wrote about a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair — that means we don't know, not that there is no problem. Five posts say the second floor is reached by stairs inside, and one guest of the upstairs rooms says the building has no lift. A 'wheelchair accessible' line in one post was copied from the listing, so we didn't count it.
Six posts say the toilets are inside, but they disagree on where: three say upstairs, one says one stall on each floor, one says the ground floor. One post saw separate men's and women's toilets.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Eleven posts repeat the house rule: on weekdays the second floor is adults-only and children use the ground floor; on weekends and holidays both floors admit children. That is the café's own notice, so we did not count it, and no post came with a child. One post saw a high chair downstairs.
- No post mentions waiting — nobody wrote about it either way — and five say it was nearly empty when they went at opening or on a weekday. Whether it fills up on weekend afternoons we don't know.
- Three posts came by bus, one taking the 210 from Millak station. None describes walking from a subway station.
- The americano price is split: five posts say 5,000 won, four say 4,500, and both figures appear from May to October, so it is not a simple price change. The decaf surcharge is 700 won in two posts and 500 in one.
- Opening hours changed around June. Six posts from 11 May to 13 June give 10:00–22:30 (last order 22:15); ten posts from July on give 10:00–23:00 (last order 22:30). Five say the second floor closes at 22:00. Most of this is copied from the listing; only one post says there is no regular day off.
- Eleven posts give the phone number 051-755-2244. None says whether it takes reservations.
