Mirim Yangjang Gwangalli-jeom

미림양장 광안리점 Yangjang is the Korean word for a Western-style dressmaker's shop; the chain says its first Jeonpo restaurant kept the name of the dressmaker that used to occupy the space.

A Peking duck restaurant in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, in the lane beside the Millak Sea Land fish market — the Gwangalli branch of Mirim Yangjang, a chain that began in Jeonpo-dong; posts start in late June 2026. Of the 22 posts by people who ate here, 20 ordered the duck, typically a half duck for 39,000 won wrapped in pancakes with scallion and cucumber, plus mapo tofu (19,000 won) or fried rice (12,000 won). Ordering is by QR code at the table. We read 30 posts from 27 June to 7 October 2026; 22 of them record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Extra pancakes, scallion and cucumber are free on request: seven posts said so, one noting they show up at zero won in the QR add-on menu. One post felt awkward asking for more pancakes.
  2. Writing a receipt review gets a free half portion of Hong Kong egg noodles: ten posts received it that way, and one got it via a Naver booking coupon. The full portion costs 12,000 won.
  3. Roasted peanuts and pickled bean sprouts arrive as soon as you sit down — fifteen posts mention them; some note the peanuts are sugared and the sprouts tinted with beet.
  4. Eight posts said the duck was not greasy and four said it had no gamey smell. Three posts warned the dipping sauce is salty and should be used sparingly.
4 more
  1. Six posts found the portions generous, a half duck being plenty for two. The one post that ordered a whole duck (76,000 won) said a single main is not enough.
  2. Eight posts describe a curtained group room at the back. The 4-to-10-person figure appears only in copied listing text.
  3. Thirteen posts booked ahead or noted that booking is possible, through Naver or CatchTable; reserved tables carry a placard. Two posts noted many tables were reserved even on weekdays.
  4. Two posts used public transport: one came by bus (routes 108, 38, 41, 62, 83, 83-1 to the Millak-dong Golmok Market stop, a five-minute walk), the other went home by subway. The "10 minutes from Gwangan Station" line is copied listing text.

Parking

3 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot3 of 22 posts

The restaurant has no parking lot (three posts). The three posts that drove used nearby lots: the Millak Sea Land market lot (1,800 won an hour) was full at 6:30 p.m. on a weekday for one; others used the No. 2 Hyeongje lot (4,000 won an hour) or the waterfront park lot (300 won per 10 minutes).

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Separate restrooms1 of 22 posts

No post describes the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.

We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in — not because there isn't, but because no one wrote about it.

We don't know whether the restroom is inside the restaurant; one post only said it is separated by sex and clean.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 8 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-09-272 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post reports actually waiting. One walked straight in thanks to a booking; another arrived at 5 p.m. to beat a queue and found tables free. We don't know how long evening or weekend waits are.
  • Five posts went with friends, two with a partner, two with family, one with coworkers. Two brought a primary-school child and said the food suited them; the high-chair claim is copied listing text.
  • Opening hours: 21 posts give the same daily 12:00 to 02:00, mostly as copied listing text, and four say there is no closing day. No one mentions a break time or last order.
  • Price of a meal: three posts for two (half duck, mapo tofu, rice) came to about 60,000 won; one table with a whole duck, three more dishes and kaoliang paid 137,000 won. No post reports a price change in this period.
  • The phone number 0507-1370-8977 is copied in many posts; bookings were made through Naver and CatchTable, and no post booked by phone.
  • Eight of the 30 posts share a template — every title begins "Gwangalli Peking duck…", same phrasing and order, no prices, companions or dates — so we did not count them as meals.
