Igane Suje Wangmandu Milmyeon

이가네수제왕만두밀면 Igane means 'the Lee family's place'; the rest of the name spells out what it sells: handmade king-size dumplings (suje wangmandu) and milmyeon, Busan's wheat-noodle answer to naengmyeon.

A milmyeon-and-dumpling shop up on the second floor of a building on a back street behind Gwangalli Beach in Busan. It serves cold-broth, sauced and half-and-half (mul-bibim) milmyeon, plus handmade pork dumplings at 8,000 won for six, and pork gukbap on the side. We read 16 posts dated 26 July to 7 October 2026. Four were about other places and were set aside, leaving 12 actual visits. Eleven of those ordered the dumplings, and among the noodles mul-bibim was the most ordered, in six posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Six posts mention the hot broth you pour yourself while waiting for the noodles. One writer had two cups each before the food came; one other found it just so-so.
  2. Waits vary. One post queued about 10 minutes after arriving around 3 p.m. to a full room. Two say they walked straight in, including a writer who has gone several times over three years and never waited. Two posts were first through the door at opening, and one of them says the room filled up soon after.
  3. Two posts call the portions large. A group of four nearly ordered a double and was glad they didn't; a pair of self-described big eaters who ordered two doubles couldn't finish.
  4. Two posts call the dumplings very juicy. One disagrees: too greasy for that writer, with a faint pork smell, and not something they'd reorder.

  1. One post brought a dog. The writer asked the owner first, sat in a corner, and suggests calling ahead because it may not be allowed when busy.

Getting inside

Second floor3 of 12 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 12 posts read)
Toilet inside2 of 12 posts

The shop is upstairs. Three posts say so from being there, one with surprise that it wasn't on the ground floor. Two mention that a different restaurant, Yongkang Jie, is on the ground floor.

No post says whether you reach the second floor by stairs or lift, or whether there is a step at the door. We don't know if a wheelchair or pushchair can get in.

Two posts say the toilet is inside the shop. Whether it is split by gender is unclear: one writer was unsure, and the other mention of separate toilets was copied from a listing.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • No post describes getting there by subway or bus. Writers walked from their lodgings or the beach, putting it at 5 to 10 or 8 minutes on foot from Gwangalli Beach.
  • One post says the food came out quickly; another timed it at about 10 minutes from ordering.
  • Seven posts give the same opening hours, 10:30 to 20:00 with last orders at 19:30, but all copied from listings. Closing days conflict: four say open every day (one says no holidays), one says closed Wednesdays, one says closed Tuesdays. Check before you go.
  • Noodle prices conflict: three posts (July and October 2026) say 9,000 won, two (a June visit and a September one) say 10,000. The split doesn't follow the dates, so we can't say whether prices went up or down. Noodles plus a plate of dumplings comes to roughly 17,000 to 18,000 won.
  • Three posts copy the phone number 051-757-8206. A listing mentions reservations, but no one actually booked.
  • One post from a Gwangalli hair salon's blog is mostly a copied review widget and listing, so it adds little. Another leans on the shop's own wording; we treat the claim that dumplings are made the day before in limited batches as the shop's line, not evidence.
