Raw fishKorean

Daeyeong Hoetjip

대영횟집 Hoetjip means a raw-fish (hoe) restaurant; Daeyeong is a proper name, and none of the posts explain it.

Compiled from 27 blog posts read in fullSources →

A raw-fish restaurant on the 7th floor of the Punggyeong Tower (Sanbada seafood building) in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, next to the Millak Waterside Park public lot. You eat a raw-fish course looking out at Gwangan Bridge: 25 of the 28 posts by people who went ordered the A course at 55,000 won a head, which runs from side dishes and seafood to three kinds of sashimi, fried shrimp and braised fish, and a spicy fish stew. We read 30 posts from 3 February to 30 September 2026; two of them are introductions or lists by people who did not visit.

Rows without a count: 15 of 22 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. 25 of the 28 visiting posts say they could see Gwangan Bridge and the sea from their table; floor-to-ceiling windows come up again and again, and some booked specifically for a window seat. One went in before sunset and stayed through to the night view; another watched fireworks from yachts.
  2. 20 posts say the sashimi came thick-cut. The '4 to 6 mm' figure several quote is copied from the restaurant's own blurb, as is the '30-year Japanese-trained chef' line, so we do not lean on either.
  3. 12 posts mention private rooms off the main hall, and 13 describe the dining room as spacious; one saw a company dinner in progress.
  4. Among posts that say who they came with, 8 went with family (a parent or a child), 8 with a spouse or partner, and 1 with a friend. Three brought a child, and four saw high chairs.
2 more
  1. The A course is 55,000 won a head in every post from February through September. The B course is 45,000 won (two posts), the lunch set 30,000 won (one post) and a bowl of rice 1,000 won (one post). Nine posts call it good value for what arrives; one says it is not cheap but justified.
  2. Five posts describe signed baseballs and bats and photos with celebrities by the entrance, naming a Lee Dae-ho signed ball, Jeong Seo-ju's autograph and a photo with Yoon Do-hyun.

Parking

3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park3 of 27 posts

Three posts drove and parked, either in the building's ground-floor lot or the public lot in front. One calls the building lot cramped, another roomy. Three say public-lot fees are not covered; only one sponsored post says they are.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 8 (of 27 posts read)
Lift to the floor8 of 27 posts
Separate restrooms2 of 27 posts

8 posts took the lift up to the 7th floor; none mention stairs. One notes the hall is all table seating and you keep your shoes on.

No post mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. One post's copied info block says wheelchair-accessible, which we do not count. That is an absence of reports, not a finding.

Two posts say the toilets are separate for men and women, but one places them at the restaurant entrance and the other at the 7th-floor landing, so whether they are inside the restaurant is unclear.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post describes waiting. Four say they walked straight in, two because they had booked and two because they were the first customers (5 p.m. on a weekday, an early lunch). Eight booked ahead. We do not know what a walk-in on a weekend evening looks like.
  • No post arrived by bus or subway; one took a taxi, and the '2 minutes from the Millak Waterside Park bus stop' line is copied from an info block. We do not know how the trip by public transport goes.
  • Opening hours appear in 22 posts, all copied from info blocks, and they disagree: 15 give Mon-Wed 10:00-24:00 and Thu-Sun 10:00-02:00 (last orders 22:00 / 00:00), 2 split weekdays and weekends instead, 3 say 10:00-24:00 daily and 2 say 10:00-02:00 daily. The split is not by date. Two say there is no closing day.
  • 13 posts give the phone number 051-759-9002; four February 2026 posts give 0507-1442-9016 instead, and one pasted 0507-1362-9812 along with another address. One post booked through Naver.
  • Four posts disclose sponsorship and two say they were invited. Among the rest, four clusters share word-for-word menu lists, info blocks or directions with other posts (one sponsored and one undisclosed post use the same sentences), so promotional writing is likely mixed in. Almost every post says the A course allows two sashimi refills; one alone says unlimited.
