고결담 The house reads its name as 'holding the grain of mackerel' (고등어의 결을 담다) — a nod to the fire-oven mackerel it was built around.

A Korean restaurant on the third floor of the 249 Tower, right on Gwangalli Beach. It serves fire-oven mackerel and Spanish mackerel sets (18,000 won) and a fire-oven chicken braise for two (41,000 won, 49,000 with aged kimchi); ordering a main gives you a self-serve bar of rolled omelette, glass noodles, spicy pork, a bibimbap station and slush. The window seats face Gwangan Bridge head-on. We read 30 posts dated 17 June to 6 October 2026; 26 describe an actual meal, and one was about a different restaurant and set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The self-serve bar is the heart of the place. Twenty-two posts say they went back for more, naming rolled omelette, glass noodles and spicy pork again and again; some filled up before the main arrived and couldn't finish the braise. Three posts say the bar comes with ordering a main, three say one dish per person, and two note a 5,000-won fee for children aged 6–7.
- Twenty posts describe eating with Gwangan Bridge and the sea outside the window. One group turned down an earlier ordinary table to wait for a window seat; another ate during the Saturday night drone show. On summer afternoons, though, one post says the sun came straight through the glass and it got hot, and another felt warm despite the air conditioning being on its lowest setting, perhaps because of the oven.
- Expect to wait at mealtimes and on weekend evenings. Five posts say there was a queue; the only one with a time waited 30–40 minutes at lunch. Two others walked straight in, one of them on a weekend lunchtime. There is a CatchTable kiosk at the door, and four posts mention seats to wait on. One group phoned ahead and booked a room.
- Eleven posts mention a partitioned room at the back; one gives its range as 6 to 12 people, and another booked it ahead — about two tables set apart like a room.

Parking

There is no restaurant parking — seven posts say so. Four parked at the Eunseong lot behind the building and came in through the back door, noting 4,000 won an hour, 2,200 won for 30 minutes plus 1,100 won per 15, and 5,000 won paid after a meal. One group left the car at their lodging and walked.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 25 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | 3 of 25 posts |
| Toilet inside | 2 of 25 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 25 posts |
Three posts say they took the lift up to the third floor; it is not a basement space.
No post says anything about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means we don't know, not that it's a problem. We only know there is a lift to the third floor.
Two posts say the toilets are inside, separated by sex and clean; one called the toilet a minus point and suspected it was the building's.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on the chicken braise split. Three posts found it too salty, three found it sweeter than expected. On heat, one called it slightly spicy and three said it wasn't spicy; one found it greasy.
- One post saw a notice limiting weekend meals to 90 minutes; three others repeat it as copied information, explaining it as a response to diners holding tables until the drone show. No June–July post mentions it, so we don't know when it started.
- One post says food took a while because there is only one oven for all the tables.
- One post says it is a 12-minute walk from Gwangan Station and not close to the subway; the '849 m from exit 3' line is copied in several posts. No one wrote about coming by bus.
- Opening hours appear only in copied info blocks. All 21 agree on 11:00–22:00; the afternoon break is most often given as 15:00–16:30, but others say 15:30–16:30, split weekday/weekend times, 15:00–16:00, or none. Two posts give last orders at 21:20.
- Prices don't fully agree. Seven posts give 41,000 won for the chicken braise and two give 49,000; one explains the higher price is for the aged-kimchi version. Sets are repeatedly 18,000 won, but one post from 22 June says 19,000. The only full bill: three people paid 74,500 won for the braise for two, squid pot rice and a mackerel set.
- Two posts mention a free drink for writing a receipt review. Five posts from June–July carry the same five hashtags in the same order and read alike; we counted them because they record a meal, but took few claims from them. Many posts give the same phone number, 0507-1491-2949; one says they booked by phone.
