Donbegi
돈베기 Don is the Sino-Korean word for pork and begi comes from the verb for cutting, so the name reads roughly as 'pork cutting'; none of the posts explains it.

Donbegi is an aged-pork grill house in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, one block back from Gwangalli Beach. It uses a ground-floor hall and private rooms upstairs, and staff grill thick cuts such as shoulder rack, French rack and scored 'snowflake' pork belly at your table. Pairs mostly ordered the couple set (400 g shoulder rack plus 200 g belly or neck) at 55,000 won, groups of three or four the family set at 74,000 won; single portions of belly or neck were 16,800 won, soybean stew 5,500 won and the cold kimchi noodles 7,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 23 September to 20 October 2026, 28 of which record an actual meal. One said the meal was sponsored, two said they paid themselves, and the rest said nothing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Staff do the grilling: 24 of the meal posts say so. They sear the thick blocks whole, cut them into pieces and move them to the edge of the grill; one post was told the meat is fine at about 80 percent done. One group of four wrote that once the upstairs filled up, staff only put the meat on and left them to grill the rest themselves.
- The upper floor is given over to private rooms; 12 posts sat in one or saw them. They are screened by curtains rather than doors, and range from two-person rooms to a room that held a party of ten, which had its own air conditioner. Several posts said Naver booking lets you choose between the downstairs hall and an upstairs room.
- There is a self-serve bar: 14 posts went back for more side dishes and lettuce. One post noted that the pollock roe on the starter spread is the exception — more of it costs extra.
- The cuts are thick — 16 posts say so — and that is why so many welcomed the staff grilling, noting that timing such thick meat is hard to get right yourself.
3 more
- Seven posts found something spicy, mostly the soybean stew, which you order by heat level: one found even the regular level quite fiery, another ordered it hot and found it too much. The spicy chewy noodles are labelled a bit hotter than Shin Ramyun.
- For a pork grill it carries a real wine list: nine posts saw the cellar or drank wine with the meat. The couple wine set — shoulder rack with two glasses of house wine — is 47,000 won. The 10,000-won-per-table corkage fee appears in many posts but only as copied store information.
- You order from a tablet at the table; seven posts mention it, one calling it a kiosk.

There is no lot of its own; diners use the underground car park of the officetel opposite. Four posts actually parked there. One says two hours were validated if you give your plate number at the till; another says one hour. The 'first 120 minutes free, then 2,000 won per hour' line is copied store information.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside

| Toilet inside | 1 of 27 posts |
No post mentions a basement; the posts describe a ground-floor hall and upstairs rooms.
No one wrote about a step at the entrance, wheelchair or pushchair access, or a lift. One post climbed stairs to the upstairs rooms; that is all we know.
Only one post described the toilets — one on each floor. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied amenity lists.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two posts say the meat is part-grilled in the kitchen first; the others describe raw blocks grilled from scratch at the table. Both may be true at different times — we cannot tell.
- One bill was wrong: a party of ten on a Saturday evening found about four extra beers and colas charged and had to point it out. The same post said staff were slow to answer calls at peak time.
- Seven posts found it clean; one disagreed, saying the place did not seem very clean, and also found almost no side dishes, unlike everyone else.
- Nearly every post repeats that dogs are welcome, but only three actually brought a dog or saw one. The conditions — vaccination proof, a carrier bag — are copied store notices we could not confirm.
- Four posts came with children. They valued not having to tend the grill, and some found high chairs and child plates and cutlery; the kids ate mild soybean stew, steamed egg and noodle soup.
- We know little about waiting. Only one post says it walked straight in. Another saw customers keep arriving after the dinner peak, and one read in the booking terms that tables are limited to two hours when there is a queue. No one wrote about queuing — which means no one reported it, not that it never happens.
- No post arrived by subway or bus. The '15–20 minutes on foot from Gwangan Station' line is copied information; one post came by taxi.
- Opening hours appear in 24 meal posts, 23 of them giving noon to 11:30 pm daily with last orders at 11 pm — almost all copied from the listing. One post wrote noon to 11 pm. Three posts say it never closes.
- Prices mostly agree, with a few splits: the cold kimchi noodles are 7,000 won in most posts but 6,000 in one; the honeycomb pork skin is 5,500 won in one post and 11,000 per portion in another; a group post listed a French-rack set at 115,000 won, far off every other set price. Two diners reported paying 51,000, 56,500 and 64,900 won for a meal.
- The phone number 0507-1341-6592 is copied in many posts. Bookings were made through Naver; no one wrote about booking by phone.
- Most posts carry the same search phrases in their titles and the same hashtags, so promotional copy is likely mixed in. Claims such as '480-hour aging' and 'top 1 percent pork' are the restaurant's own wording, which we did not count, and two template posts with no meal in them were left out.
